Hello everyone!
Finally after many years, I have finally decided to post a story. Trust me when I say, I have my laptop filled with many other ideas for many stories (including original stories, fanfics and in between) which sadly are unfinished as many things in my life distract too much that I lose the strong plot for each and every single one of them (University, job, schoolwork, etc, etc)
Now I am happy to say that I am finally doing what I always wanted which is post here my stories. Now I'm not going to bored you with many details except the important ones and also I consider writing author's note and thoughts and explanation once instead of interrupting the flow of the story (unless there's a need) so PLEASE read what I'm about to write next
1: The story is a Harry Potter fanfic (obviously) but it will strictly be based off THE BOOKS not the movies
(I'm a late bloomer to the Harry Potter world and I got a huge fever to write my own and I'm going based on the books which I got all from Amazon kindle; I've read somewhere something about the U.S. version of the book is different than the U.K. if I'm wrong then I'm sorry in advance)
2. There WILL be lines from the actual book incorporated into the story but all credits go to the author J.K. Rowling and any other respective authors who incorporated to the amazing original story. (I will also include in here the plot in general of the story)
(I used it to flow in with my story and frankly I think makes the story cooler. Again I take no credit for those actual lines from the actual book; some lines that are said by the actual characters are sometimes said by my OC and it will be displayed as such; seeing as this is my first story, hopefully it will show in ITALICS parts used from the book (still working on how to work the usage of publishing and adding books to Wattpad)
3. The side plot that goes with the story and the original character are MY creation; any association to the name or the plot is coincidental
(Seriously, it took me forever to come up with my main OC's name and how she incorporates with the Golden Trio and I honestly and truly doubt someone else came up with this but like I said, it will be coincidental)
3.1 Given that I consider myself a total newbie in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter (might as well be a Muggle), the description of my OC's wand is not written.
(I will not paint myself a brain when I'm still learning, I have no shame in that, about facts of wandlore; I am however open to suggestions to those who have more knowledge only that I ask, read the story to get a feel of the OC and suggest what would her wand be; I have no problem with that)
4. Yes, the flow of the story is meant to be like that and yes, it is meant to make you question everything that is around my OC
(There's obvious parts in the story where one can guess her lineage (easiest) but everything else is meant to be confusing; the title of this story should say it all. Part of the story is meant to be like that because the side plot (which is mine) goes through the years of Hogwarts and will reveal things with time; Although it's the second year for all of them, the Golden Trio (except for Hermione) meet her now (in a sense) and in this story is meant to be a sort of intro to my OC)
5. I am Bilingual, meaning that although my English is good doesn't mean it is the only language I know, so there will be grammatical errors
(I'm no English literature expert, so there will be grammatical errors and part where I probably missed in editing, so I apologize in advance; I have no editors so I'm doing this by myself with no help so please go easy and point out where its confusing or needs editing that you see that can't be understood and I will appreciate it and make the necessary corrections)
6. I will NOT tolerate rude, hateful or offensive comments or ANYTHING that will be considered to me offensive
(I'm no professional writer, meaning I will not appreciate rude, hateful or offensive comments thrown to me or any other readers that comment that will bring down myself or anybody else; I'm writing because I love writing and want to share my story that was inspired in my head and bringing someone down for a love of their passion, even if it's hobby, is downright rude; please refrain from doing that. I'm open to constructive thoughts and opinions so long as it does not contain what I mention prior)
7. Please refrain from asking for quick updates
(I don't mind the occasional reminder obviously just don't make it repetitive where it's just annoying. I have started my last semester for my Bachelor's degree and so far it's going good seeing as we just recently started so I can update fairly often. I cannot guarantee it will stay that way later so please, go easy on me, seeing as not only are my classes online, there will be moments where I have to go physically to practice hands-on (Medical careers require hands-on more than anything and it's not easy especially during these troubling times), I'm also writing as I go along when I have the time and seeing as I go with the plot of the Harry Potter story, I also have to incorporate my side plot as well. It may look easy, but I assure, it is not (and probably some Harry Potter writers themselves would agree as well)
8. This story is not rated mature, BUT WILL change as the story progresses
(Basically this means, that right now, it's intended for everyone, it is not mature because, hello, their second years, specifically the main characters. They are 12 years old, hormonal teen angst and such doesn't begin till later and I intend to keep it that way; There are parts in this story where yes, it references to romance and shows the likes of some kids and such BUT IT WILL NOT be centered just yet; it is to give you a basic idea and little something to feed my readers)
8.1 I will NOT reveal who is the main pairing
(Yes that's right, I will not be revealing whose going to end up with who, I frankly like the up and down roller-coaster of who my OC ends up with and it makes it all the more fun; on this, I will also add, that there could be a change in the original pairings of the Harry Potter books (I could make unexpected pairings end up together who knows I'm still working on it but there are some unexpected pairings that I never thought possible until I read about them and absolutely loved them so I could change it up, who knows)
9. Most importantly, DO NOT take my story
(If in the future you see, this story somewhere else and it is NOT by me, please let me know and either report it or just let me know and I'll report it; I've worked hard on this and I do not appreciate someone else taking my idea as themselves)
