Cotton candy clouds filled the sky
As we sat outside eating our pad Thai.
"Mhm this really is delicious, babe!" Zach exclaimed.
I smiled swallowing my food. "Why thank you, Zachary." He smiled and leaned over to softly pecking my lips.
"Okay let me throw these away for us." I said grabbing the paper plate from his hand and walking inside to throw them away.
"Come sit on my lap and cuddle." He whined making me giggle.
You gave me a look I've never seen.
Had me thinking you saw me as your queen.
I felt eyes burning holes in the side of my face. I looked up at Zach seeing his eyes already on mine. I smiled.
"Yes?" We both lightly laughed.
"Nothing." He smiled and kept staring at me.
Something I'm not used to..
But being loved is possible, who knew?
"Do you love me?" I asked scrunching my face a little.
His face turned confused and he chuckled. "Of course I love you! You're my everything."
He kissed my forehead and I smiled. He does love me. Love is..real?
We held each other till the sun went down.
You could eventually see every light twinkle from all around.
"Look at them!" I pointed at the stars above us.
"The view is amazing."
He chuckled. "It sure is."
I looked at him. "Stop looking at me you weirdo!" I shoved his head lightly as we both laughed.
Not moving one bit while the hours went by,
And soon enough cotton candy clouds filled the sky.
"Wow."
I yawned. "We stayed up all night!" Zach laughed and I giggled.
"Yeah we did." I grabbed his face bringing him into a very passionate kiss.
"I love you so much." He whispered against my lips.
"I love you too dork."
He smiled. "Now let's go to bed." He threw me over his shoulder making me burst out into laughter.
