Shine A Light Reprise

Yamaguchi's PoV
I struggled with the stupid pill bottles cap. "Stupid child-proof caps!" I grunted as I tried to open it.

I look over at the mirrors to see Kageyama and the other students.

"Aw, look, Heather's going to-"

"Whine, whine, whine all night." They taunted me.

"You don't deserve to live." Kageyama smiled creepily at me.

"Why not kill yourself? Here, have a sedative." They all kept Laughing at me. "Whine, whine, whine,"

"Like there's no Santa Claus" Kageyama laughed loudly.

"You're pathetic because you whine! You whine all night!" I fell to my knees as I pull at my hair. 'Stop... please...'

"Whine."

"Your ass is off the team." I sob as I slammed the bottle to the floor over and over.

"Whine." 'OPEN YOU FUCKING BOTTLE! MAKE IT ALL STOP' I screamed as tried to block them out.

"Go on and bitch and moan." The white cap broke off.

"Whine." I quickly pour all the contents into my hand.

"You don't deserve the dream." I look at the white little medicine used to keep people alive and healthy.

"Whine." Meanwhile I want to use it to destroy my body,

"You're gonna die alone." They crawl out from the mirrors and start to surround me. 'Should I really do this?'

"Die alone, die alone, Die alone, die alone!"

'I can't do this anymore' I close my eyes as I pour all the pills in my mouth.

Right as I was about to swallow the bathroom door slammed open. "No! No, no, stop, stop!" Hinata ran over and fell down next to me.

I hiccup and look at him. "Suicide is a private thing" my voice was muffled from the mouth full of pills.

"Throwing your life away to be a statistic in USA Today? That's like the least private thing I can think of." Hinata kneeled next to me.

"But what about Heather and Bokuto and Kuroo?"

"If everyone jumped off a bridge, young man, would you?" I nodded at Hinata's words, ashamed.

Hinata grabbed my hands and squeezed them. "If you were happy every single day of your life, then you wouldn't be a human, you'd be a game show host." He smiled softly.

I laugh at his words and feel tears fall down my cheek as I spat the pills out. "Thanks for coming after me." I hugged him tightly.

Himata smiled softly and hugged me back. "You're welcome."

Hinata stood up and helped me up. "Come on, lets go."

"You go on ahead, I'm gonna clean up my little uh mess, I promise you have nothing to worry about" I smile softly as I sniffle.

Hinata nodded and waved at me as he walked out the bathroom.

'I'm not alone' I smile to myself as I start to clean up my small mess.

Hinata's PoV
I walked down the hall and jumped slightly as I hear Tsukishima's voice.

"You are a genius. You had me worried with your little confession there, but you pulled it off. Best place to hide- right in plain sight." Tsukishima was leaning against the wall.

"No, I wasn't trying to hide." I crossed my arms as I give Tsukishima a glare.

Tsukishima stood straight and walked over to me. "Why'd you have to meddle with Yamaguchi? One more dead Heather's a good thing." He smirked.

I had a baffled look on my face. "He's my friend!" I was angry- no! Furious with Him.

"Okay, if he's your friend, then why are we letting Kageyama live? The bitch that made Yamaguchi want to kill himself? You see, nothing ever changes, and honestly-"

"Hey, we are out of the change business, okay?" I started to argue with him.

"So we just let Kageyama run around ruining the same old lives for the same old people, because all that it does-"

"No, listen, you promised me, listen, you promised-"

I stop him and hold his hands. "Listen to me, listen to me. Just, don't talk over me, okay? You promised me."

"I promised." Tsukishima sighed and squeezed my hands.

"Thank you." I smile softly as we walk out the school an to his house.

'Let us be seventeen' I kissed Tsukishima as he held my waist gently.

Akiteru leaned on the door way and cleared his throat. "Gee Aki, ever heard of knocking? I was playing grab-ass with my girlfriend." He imitated Tsukishima's voice.

I blush in embarrassment and hide behind Tsukishima.

Tsukishima chuckled. "Well you know the rules, young man. When company's over the bedroom door stays open." He Imitated Akiteru's voice.

Akiteru rolled his eyes and started to rang. "So the judge, God bless him, told those idiot groupies to slap shit and die." He laughed. "You should've seen the fireworks, I got it all right here on video. I packed the upper floors with thermals, set off the whole thing with a Norwegian in the boiler room. Ka-boom." I could feel the anger raiding off of Tsukishima. "Be right back, I'm gonna want my drawstring pants for this."

Akiteru stood back up and left. Tsukishima gritted his teeth and took a gun out from his pocket and shot the ceiling.

"Goddamnit! No firearms in the house!" Akiteru yelled from the other room making Tsukishima laugh his ass off.

"Why are you carrying a gun?!" I back away from him, slowly inching to the door.

"It pissed off my Brother, it was funny." Tsukishima put his gun back in his pocket.

"No, it's not funny! None of this is funny! You're carrying a loaded weapon! You promised me." I gritted my teeth as I roughly push at his chest, making him stumble back slightly.

"It's a dangerous world." Tsukishima spoke lowly as he looked down at me.

"Yeah, because of you!" I pointed at his chest. "You know what? Don't call me. Don't talk to me." I walk to the door.

"Hinata-" Tsukishima grabbed my wrist.

"No, you don't understand the difference between right and wrong, we're over." I pull my arm back roughly.

"Come on, come back!" I ignore him as I stomp out his room and to the door.

"No, we're over!" I put my hand on the door knob.

"I love you-" I turn around and freeze as I see Tsukishima's gun pointed at me.

"Just, come back" Tsukishima aimed the gun down and held a hand out for me to take.

I look at his hand then at him. "Goodbye, Kei" I opened the door and quickly left.

Third PoV
Tsukishima clenched his fists tightly and put his gun away. 'If thats how you want to play, fine we'll play' he smirked and walked off to his room.
