Alex stretched her aching muscles. Karter had made them work extra hard today because their exams were coming up soon. She knew she could probably beat one of boys in a one on one battle if she used her meyarin speed but she wanted to hone her skills without taking the easy way out. She sighed, making her way down the staircase into the Library foyer.

Today was a Friday and normally the Library was practically empty, not a single soul would be here! But since exams were coming up, it was packed almost everyday of the week. Alex had hoped at least today it would be albeit empty but NO... She really wanted to explore the Library's doorways but there was no secluded enough of a place in the Library to summon a doorway. Sure she could just walked down the staircase to the deepest part of the archives but even then there were at least 2-3 people going down into the archives for her to even have some empty space.

Alex sighed again as she nodded to the Librarian and just went to browse the shelves full of books. If she can't use doorways then she could read since she did that back home on Freya. She had passed several sections of books and still hadn't found a book that deemed interesting enough. She couldn't go down into the archives cause she guaranteed that it will be packed, she couldn't sit down in the foyer cause every inch was occupied by a student and she can't summon a doorway out in open....

Wonderful, just wonderful!!!, she thought.

Alex just gave up looking for a space so she climbed back up the Library stairs and walked across the Academy Grounds to her dorm room. She knew D.C and the boys ought to be in the Rec-Room so she-

Wait a minute, why didn't she think of going there in the first place for some tranquility. So she did just that and changed her course to the Rec-Room. When she had got there, her shoulders sagged in relief. There were some people here and there but she just glad there some secluded spots there. She walked to over to a secluded corner hidden behind a wall.

"ALEX", came a shout form behind her. She turned around to see Jordan frantically waving her over. She really didn't want because she needed or more like wanted to explore the Library doorways but they were her friends so she made her way over to their table. "What're you doing here Alex?", Jordan asked, going back to work on his Chemistry assignment courtesy of Fitzy.

"I wanted to find a secluded area so I can summon a doorway to explore inside the Library you know but it's just packed everywhere", she whispered. "Literally".

"Oh, is that why you're here but don't you have assignments to finish?", Bear piped up.

"Hehe, actually I finished them during class with the motive of exploring the Library but you know....", she trailed off. Their jaws dropped.

"Alex, do you know what that means?", asked the red-haired princess.

"That I have free time, obviously", Alex raised an eyebrow.

"No, it means that YOU HAVE FREE TIME", Jordan spread his arms as if it was a grand finale. Alex rolled her eyes, her Jordan wouldn't be Jordan if he wasn't as dramatic as he usually is.

"Wow Jordan, I totally didn't know that Jordan...", Alex said sarcastically. "Anyway, I've got to get going and I'll take you guys when you're free cause I don't wanna take you when even if I'm not sure if it's completely safe", she said and waved at them as she got up and walked away.

Alex looked around to make sure no was watching and summoned a door way behind a secluded dark corner.

Alex was walking in complete darkness but she was just able to see. Though there was no specific path to follow, she oddly knew which direction to go in. She didn't have anywhere specific to go so she followed the pull she felt in a certain direction. Her thoughts lead back to that painting she was absorbed into when she first came to Akarnae. She wondered if should get inside a painting through a doorway. It's worth a shot. There's a first time for everything..... Right?

"Hey Library, do you think it's possible for me to go inside a painting?", Alex asked in the darkness.

I don't know Alexandra, there's always a first time for everything...., came the amused voice of the Library.

"Right? That was so helpful", came Alex's sarcastic reply. The Library let out a distant chuckle. Instead of pointing Alex in the right direction, the Library showed Alex the answer by getting her sucked into a beautiful valley. "Oh, so it is possible, thanks Library".

You're welcome Alexandra, just remember that I'll always be here!

Then Alex wondered something... What is the Library's name? Apparently, she thought that a loud because the Library laughed.

I don't know Alexandra, over the centuries I have been called many things by many of the people who wondered my corridors. But if you would like a name, then give me a name you want to call me by.

Alex pondered on a name but she needed to know if the Library was a male, female or a neutral. "Hey Library, I need to know what gender you are cause the I know what to call you".

I am what gender you think I am Alexandra since even I don't know myself.

Oh. Alex definitely wasn't expecting that. She thought long and hard until she found a perfect name. "How does Aria sound?".

Aria? Aria, I like it Alexandra, good choice.

"Glad you like it", Alex replied sincerely. And a few hours went by filled with casual chatter but it was soon time to go. "I hope to talk to you again Aria, bye for now", with that, Alex touched the painting and got swished away.

Likewise Alexandra

The distant voice of the Library whispered in the back of her mind. What Alex wasn't expecting was that Nick and Sebastian from her Combat Class were standing in front of the very painting she just walked out of.

"Queenie?", Sebastian asked.

"Uhh... Hi", Alex nervously greeted. Her palms were literally sweating right now. How was she going to explain that she just walked out a literal painting.

"Did you just... walk out of a.... painting?", Nick asked, unsure of what he just saw.

"Ummm, yeah about that, hehe.... Could you keep it a secret?", both boys raised their eyebrows. "I mean, until I'm ready to explain the situation at hand here", Nick frowned.

"Why, what's wrong?".

"Well, it's just... Ugh, it'd better if no one knew about this because it'll put people in danger", they blinked, motioning her to continue. "Look I know you might think this is crazy and I'm not who I really claim to be, my identity and what I can do, which is walking out of paintings must remain hidden until the right time ok". The boys shared a look. "Please, this isn't just for me but everyone else. If someone knows what I can do, it'll all be over", she said and walked away, leaving the two boys to decide. Somehow, she felt she could trust them not to tell her secret. And if they did, it'd probably be the teachers they'll tell first but then the teachers would also say the same thing she said.

Oh, sometimes she just loved confusing people. Such good entertainment.
