Presence is required if a friend has been dumped
Unless you are deathly sick or are about to win the $1 million on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, if your friend has been dumped, you have to be there. If you're a really good friend, you'll be there with pizza and wine. And or ice cream. Aka a girl's bff.
My opinion:
This must be followed! It's basically a law. If your boyfriend dumped you are you just gonna go home cry and eat Ben and Jerry ice cream? Well yes but why do that alone when you've got your best friend. Make sure your there. Comfort them and tell her how wrong he was. Let them know that you care and that you will stay by your side.
