|Kaito's Supershack|

After Akiko explained to Tei what happened to Kaito and all the misunderstanding had been settled, the mood of the place became peaceful. Gumi and Akiko remained at the store downstairs.

Meanwhile, at the living area upstairs, Tei was sitting on the couch, accompanying Kaito.

"Why are you here?" Kaito asked while walking towards her, carrying a tray with some brownies and Jasmin tea.

"I want to visit you for a change, to spend my day-off with you." she simply answered, picking a brownie from the plate. "I mean, I said to myself that I want to be your one and only star you see. And now, here I am with you! Sitting here, just... you and me and... no one in sight to distract your attention from me!"

"What do you mean by that?" he said in a confused tone, pouring tea on Tei's cup. "Have you asked for a break just for me?"

She ate half of the brownie, put it down then she aimed at the tea before answering his questions.

"Yeah, I do get a three day vacation from Sir Ted! So that means..." she excitedly said, looking at Kaito, somewhat expressing what would be the missing words.

"... so that means," Kaito said, looking back at Tei. He made a swift realization, then finished the statement, "You'll be here for three days?"

"Exactly dear!" she replied with joy. "I'll be spending the greatest vacation of my life!"

Kaito interrupted the moment. "But Tei, this is the only vacation you had since you worked away from here."

"Oh yeah...." she realized. "Indeed my first— but still excited!"

"Why did you bring a backpack?" Kaito asked, inspecting the bag at Tei's back.

"I brought Haku's mallet with me." answered she. "Sir Ted said that she left it at the shop."

"Oh..." he said, remembering the mallet Haku used to call Ritsu yesterday. "If that's the case, let me place that bag somewhere and don't carry that at your back, it has some weight, you know?"

"Okay my Kaito!"

Kaito held the straps of the bag and removed it from Tei's back. He then stood from the couch and walked towards near the staircase, resting the bag at the wall adjacent to the steps. He then returned at the couch, sitting next to Tei.

The conversation of the two lasted for minutes. They had talked about the things they didn't have the chance to talk about for years as a couple, and some stuff that was just randomly came at the two.

During the talk, Tei had recalled the scene she witnessed earlier down the shop.

"What happened to you my Kaito-kun?" she worriedly said, combing her fingers slowly on Kaito's bluish hair, looking at his eyes with deep concern. "Why she made that kind of heartless act of stepping into your foot?"

"Akiko just helped me to wake up."

"But, why is that she needs to step on your foot?" She mumbled, "If you feel sleepy, then I'll kiss you so that your heart will be awakened fast! I can remove your sleepy state if you needed. I can do it better than her!"

"You know Tei," he said while resting his arm at her back, holding her left shoulder. "If I don't have this trait of being a 'sleepy head', maybe that shouldn't happened. Besides, maybe I really need to get hurt like that to be shaken up."

"No! You don't have to, because it hurts me too!"

"Tei—" Kaito faintly said with concern.

She placed her both hands just above her knees, looking down the yellow carpet, somewhat reflecting about herself.
