it's cute because it's like best friends becoming something else and i like ships that work like that. it's another human x hedgie tho', and maria's kinda... d e d... but i've seen some really sweet fan comics and art where maria comes back as a hedgehog and gets together with shadow and it's just really cute aaaaa- but depending on how you look at it, shadow and maria are kinda... r e l a t e d...
