Down to another chapter, have to dedicate this to AllwaysStayTrue for supporting me on writing a sequel... XoX
*Farheen POV.*
I smack the heavy books on the kitchen counter and fake panting. Fatima looks at me and shakes her head as she cuts her onions.
"Do you take all of that in the exam room?" She asks.
"I was so freaked out, I thought I had not studied enough. I took all my books for a quick revision on the way." I say reaching for a glass of water.
"You spent the whole night up, if you don't rest you will fall asleep in the exam room." She warns, she has been warning me the whole week.
"I know, but when I close my eyes I only remember that there's something that I probably don't know."
"Don't push yourself too much." She says and I try to drink the water fast to reply.
"I made a bet with Ilhaam, I can't lose it. She Aced half of the exams." I whiny.
"You will surely pass this exams, trust me." She tries to cheer me up, on the Fatima always calm tone.
"What are you making?"
"Chicken Byriani." She replies and looks at me smiling.
"My favourite, want any help?"
"No, go get some sleep."
"I will do better and check wedding dresses." I utter not so excited. "I have been looking at them I can't choose. I miss Ilhaam, Fatima."
"She will be here for the graduation, you can catch up to plan the wedding."
"I really need help, I planned your weddings and can't plan my own."
"You are just nervous, concentrate in your exams then you can think about the wedding after the defence."
"I will try my best." I say giving her a kiss and turning to go when I see Sadiya coming with a blouse in her hand. "That's mine."
"Yes, I can't seem to remove this stain." Sadiya says showing it to Fatima.
"Hey, I didn't do that." I complain. "This can only be Maliha's doing."
"What have I done?" She asks coming in the kitchen.
"This Missy." I say putting the stain on her face. My best half sister, she wants to do psychology and lives psycho analysing everyone.
"I'm sorry, you said I could take anything."
"Take, not stain." I throw a furious look at her. "Now I know why Ilu didn't want young sisters." I say handing her the skirt and walking out of the kitchen. "Things are already starting to go wrong."
"Wow, how long until the wedding?" She asks.
"A bit more than three months." Fatima replies.
"And she's already like this, all grumpy. Can I travel during the wedding week, please?" She says and I know she's provoking me.
Fatima laughs and looks at me. "I heard that." I scold.
"By the way, I don't want you stressing over my marriage." Maybe I overstressed a bit on step wedding or on Ilhaam's wedding, but the results were as good.
"If you ever get married." I tease.
"Thank you for the heads up." She says sarcastically and I roll my eyes marching to my room.
*Ilhaam POV.*
Looking at her and I could see the pain and coldness in her eyes, I really don't think she's turning back.
