Silent Screams

Part 2

Doctor Mark's POV:

It was already 11pm; I stood in my office knowing the police would bring the girls bodies here soon. I decided to start my work right away, knowing that finding the killer was a big priority to make sure no other women would end up as his victims. While waiting for the bodies to arrive I decided to call my sister Kate once again I didn't hear from her since 24 hours nor did I know about her whereabouts which resulted in my growing more and more worried. But again, the call was pointless because she didn't accept it. Before I could let my thoughts imagine the worst horror scenarios the police handed me over the bodies means I had something to do real bad state some of them were burned or their body parts were cut off which lead me to decision to take the one body that was in a better state than the others.

I wasn't ready for what I saw now. It was Kate trapped in an old building, her eyes were full of fear and her chest and neck were full of bruises and wounds... behind her there is a man, covering his face but holding a gun on her head. She begged me for help but also told me several time to keep anything I find out away from the police or she would die. It broke me, I know lying to the police might cost me my job but she was much more important than my job... so I kept every information to myself and got ready to leave work and search Kate. That was everything that mattered now, I couldn't lose her. I walked out just too....

Doctor Mark's POV End:

Doctor Mark immediately tried to leave the forensic labor to search for Kate but as he went out, the six police men were already outside "Why is he leaving so early, the bodies just came. He looks suspicious" Officer Samuel said, other officers nodded in agreement because Doctor Mark was acting suspicious. "Give me a side, I have work" Doctor Mark said but that made him more suspicious "No, where are you going? Tell us what information you got" Officer Thomas said. Doctor Mark refused and tried to leave but he got in a fight with them. "No we won't let you go" all of them said "I said LET ME GO!!" Doctor Mark yelled, as they were fighting. A nurse came out and put a gift in the floor, they all looked at it "What's that?" Officer Thomas said, Doctor Mark took it because his name was written on it. He fearfully opened the box; there is an eyeball and a piece of paper beside it. A poem was written on it......
