A DARE'S FAULT

FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL..

Lillie, a high school student, from a very rich family (but nobody knows) not popular at school but smart in class, and not social at all but not shy and she never thinks of herself as inferior. She has these mild eyes and kinda white hair, slender, and her beautiful face could tempt a saint to sin.

"Hurry up, Lillie. You are going to be late for school. Remember it's your first day" her mom's says
"Am almost done with everything, but I can't find my flat shoes" Lillie says."have you seen them for me?" She asks her mom
"Check in my closet. I had borrowed them yesterday"
"Thanks" she speaks while going to her mom's closet. " Am done and good to go"
"Am gonna drive you for only today, you will drive yourself tomorrow"
"I hate my car. I just bike for now"
"Why don't you drive to school?"
"Mom, my car is ugly. I would rather bike than drive it"
"It's your choice to make, not mine. Get in the car then"
They drive and reach school.
"Can I come for you"
"Am ok. I'll walk, it's not that far"
"Ok, see you later. Mommy loves you" she drives off to work.
She gets in and walks to the hallway. Her eyes stare, confused about where to go and where not to go.

Mark, an old student of Lillie's new school, very popular but dump in class, a football player, a womanizer, player, arrogant, mean and proud. He has this chest that could make a girl sleepy, blonde hair and these pink lips which look like chewing gum. All girls wanted to be his girl friend at least for once. He used his features to get to girls and that, he was famous for.

As he is walking with his two best friends, Fred and Wilson accidentally knocks Lillie as she heads to the lockers. Her bag falls and all her stuff scatter around the floor in addition to her falling. Instead of saying "sorry", Mark says;

"Watch where you are heading. Bitch"
"Shut up asshole" she responds

Lillie collects all stuff in embarrassment while everyone is starring at her and goes to her locker. She looks around and her eyes fall on Mark, the guy from earlier on. She grinds her teeth as she breaths heavy, even a toddler could see anger in her eyes.

While looking at Mark, two girls, Molly and Milly come to her, one on the right and another on the left;

"He is a bummer" Molly speaks angrily.
"You would have slapped him, or spit at him" Milly added "am Milly by the way, and she is Molly. Who are we talking to right now?!"
"Actually, you are talking to Lillie. Am new here but definitely can tell that this is my worst day ever. Though I also called him an asshole" they all laugh

"You haven't explored tomorrow, so don't judge today"Molly says laughing.
"Anyway, are you going to the English class? Because we are." Milly adds.
"Yeah!yeah! I actually was, please head the way. Am so green about the area?"
"Yeah!!" Milly and Molly speak at once. Milly wraps her arms around Lillie's waist.
"Don't do that, ever" she pauses and unwraps the arms around her waist. "I don't like it. I just don't like it at all.
"Ok! Am sorry" she looks at Molly and lipses; "what's with her?"
"Can we head to class now."
"Of course" Molly says.

They all walk to the English class and unfortunately, as she enters the room, her eyes land on Mark and his friends. The only empty seat was opposite THE ENEMY. She grabs the seat and looks at him with an evil eye, wishing he could just stand up and say how sorry he was about earlier.

"Yo! Man, look, it's the hallway girl" Fred shows Lillie to Mark.

Before a conversation or a fight could spark between the two, the English teacher enters the room and the session begun.

"Hello everyone, my name is Victor. An English teacher and I would love t..." The English teacher gives his speech but he's interrupted by Mark who laughs loudly calling for the whole class's attention.

"What is your name Mr, if I may ask" Victor asks mark.
" Am the best football player in school" Mark laughs
"I can really understand why this school needed me. If a student can not answer the easiest question of English, just saying his name, then there is a huge problem with either the former teacher, or the student. Of which I would go with the latter." He says all those words looking at Mark. And the whole class makes noises to mark.

He never said anything to anyone during the session and he paid attention to the teacher, not because he wanted to,and not because he understood anything, but because he was wondering which side of the bed he had woken up.

Lillie's first day at school was not good at all, for her, she got embarrassed by a jerk and for Mark, the new English teacher bursted him in front of the whole class. To Lillie, he deserved more. To Mark, it was just a laughter.

Day have passed by, and Lillie has these friends of hers that she hangs out with and this guy that she hates. She has realized that her school is not that bad and not that fun. It's just a fine school that she can barely with.
