    The following morning, Lillie picks up her breakfast and carries her hand bag, then head out to go to school.
     A black car is parking just across their lane and then Mark gets out;

     "Get in. Am driving you today. To and from."
      Lillie walks to the car and Mark opens up for her, her gets in too.

      "You look fabulous today. No you look fabulous" he says. He pecks her lips and says;

      " Well buckle up. We are signing off." He starts the engine and drives off to school.

       At school, they walk together in the hall. Everyone is starring at them. Wondering how perfect they look together.

      "Morning guys" Mark says when they reach the rest.

      "You guys look perfect together." Fred nodes. "You should date"

     "We are" Mark looks at Lillie and sees her looking back at him and kisses her softly.

     "Wow! When did it start" Milly asks.

     "When did what start. The feeling for each other or the dating" Mark says.

    "The dating" Wilson says.

     "Last night" Lillie replies.

     "Now we are all not single. Molly says. "When shall we go on a triple date?"

     "Nice idea. I think we do it  over the weekend"

     "It's lesson time. We've got to get going" Wilson pecks Milly, and heads off.

    "Should I escort you to you class?" Mark asks Lillie.

     "It's fine. I'll walk with the girls" she replies. Mark hugs her and taps on Fred then both walk away.

      "Wow! Are you really dating for real" Milly asks.

     "Yeah! I also never saw it coming but, here we are. In love with each other" Lillie smiles.

     "How did it start" Molly asks.

     "The other morning after the hang out, Mark came at home and tried to see wether I was fine or not. I had to clean up the basement and he tried to help. That's when he said he loved me."

     "What did you say" Molly asks.

     "Nothing. He walked out before I could say a thing. Until last night when he drove me home..."
     "He drove you home? Didn't he leave first?" Milly asks.

     "That's what I thought, but when I got out of the dinner, he parked right in front of me and asked me to get in"
     "Did you guys kiss?" Molly asks.

    "Yeah! We did, and it was spectacular"

     "Am jealous" Milly says.

    "Guys, did you know that we are friends dating friends" Molly speaks while they walk to class.

        After classes, Mark waits for Lillie to drive her back home.

      "I want to introduce you to my parents. I just want them to know the person that am dating. Will you eat dinner at my house?" She says.

     "Oh my gosh! Yeah! I'll do that."

     "Thanks love"

      "Talk about introductions. I also want you to meet my parents. Have you ever met my parents?"

      "No, I have actually never met them"

     "It's because they don't usually be home. They are always on trips"

     "I shall meet them when they come around"

      The two have reached Lillie's house and are seated in the living room. Samuel walks in.

      "Hello sir?" Mark greets

     "Hello. Who are you if I may ask?"

      "Am Mark..." Before he could introduce himself, Lillie injects in;

     "This is my boyfriend. His name is Mark. Mark Blake. I thought that you have a good memory but you have disappointed me"

     "I knew his face. He's the guy who brought you home the last time and he's the same guy who helped you out with the cleaning. I just didn't know his name, and I was teasing him" Samuel says. "So. You are her boyfriend"

     "Yes, and she is my girlfriend" Mark say.

     "My daughter is very picky when it comes to boys, though she has a bad test for it. Her first died, two years ago and the last one she had..." Lillie interrupted;

    "Dad, you do not need to tell him. He already knows."

     "It seems she picked you out. That story is sensitive to her and she never talks about it. It seems you are special. Better treat her well"

     "Yes, I will and I cross my heart, never to cry and never to make her yarn"

   "Don't make promises to me. Make then to her" Samuel walks out.

    "Am terrified of him" Mark whispers to Lillie.

    "You don't need to be. He is much better than that"

    They sit, enjoying each other's company while watching a movie until Claire's voice shocked them;"Dinner us ready"

    Both walk and sit at the dining table just beside each other. Claire kills the silence by asking;

     "So, are your parents are of town?"

    "Yeah, they don't usually stay around" Mark replies.

     "Tell us how you met up with our daughter"

     "Actually, our story has a terrible beginning, but you can all see it's ending"

     "How did you meet" Samuel asks.

     "On her first day at school, I knocked her and fell but I didn't mind her. She really got pissed at me and on addition to that, I approached her, I was not serious about that approach. Am glad she put me in my place and that made me fall for her, for real this time"

    "It's not bad as you said it was" Claire says.
   Mark gets hold of Lillie's hand that lays on the table, he looks directly to her eyes and says;

     "There was a time when I was trying to cleanse my name to her, but she said that I should just try to be happy. I for sure didn't know why I wanted her to know that am that bad a guy, until I realized that I was trying to let her know that she can trust me, that she is free to love me because I was for no one" he slowly pecks it. Samuel looks at Claire and asks;

    "Are you flirting with my daughter in front of me"

     "Am sorry sir" he drops Lillie's hand and continues;
     "Am not flirting. I'm just being extremely friendly to someone who is extra attractive" he winks and continues with his food.

     Dinner is done and Mark is leaving.

     "I really had a great time. Thanks dear for inviting me to your house."

     "Am also satisfied that you came. Though you were a little naughty at the table"

     "Am sorry I messed up. I was trying to be a nice boyfriend"

     "You are. You don't need to prove to anyone. Any see you tomorrow at school. Good night"

     "Just the thought of being with you tomorrow is enough to make me through the night" he pecks her and drives off.

     "I should have said yes the first time he approached me, so that I enjoyed his company till now. Anyway good I have..."she is interrupted by her mom;

    "Who are you talking to? Asks Claire.

     "To no one. Why are even out? Let's get in" she pushes her in and lock the door.
