LUX BONTERI

Lux stood patiently outside of Ahsoka's room in the Crucible. She was talking to Morra and Eekar, and he overheard something about Crimson Dawn.

Eventually, Ahsoka finished talking with them, and opened the door.

"Hey, love," Ahsoka said, her eyes dreamy as ever, and her smile lighting up his soul.

"Hey, 'Soka," Lux said, quickly kissing her.

"How's it goin'? Ahsoka asked.

"Do you know where the Jogan Fruit is?" Lux asked.

"Uhm, we're out of that," Ahsoka said.

"Well," Lux continued, "It's a good thing that Morra and Eekar are out to get the supplies."

"Yeah," Ahsoka said, "About that..."

Lux rolled his eyes.

"Let me guess," he said, "something went wrong."

"Eekar said a group of Crimson Dawn mercenaries was behind the attack," she said. "He contacted me in an alleyway, but he was spotted. If I had to guess, he and Morra are running for their lives right now."

"Drats!" Lux said.

"I have faith in them, though," Ahsoka continued. "This isn't the first time they've gotten into a mess."

"I hope they make it," Lux said.

"Well," Ahsoka said, "I'll ask Senator Organa if there's any other possible contacts that can supply us. Our situation isn't too urgent, and we won't have to start rationing for another few days."

"Better hurry up then," Lux said.

"Hey," Ahsoka continued, "you think I'm not already considering our options?"

"Well," Lux said, "I know we can count on you."

"Of course you can," Ahsoka said, quickly kissing him again.

"Oh," Lux said after they broke the kiss, "I think it's time for my saber training."

"Oh, that's right!" She said. "Meet me out in the field in ten minutes!"

"Okay," Ahsoka told him, "Just put on the blindfold."

"Haven't I already done this?" Lux said.

"Not with your new saber, you haven't," she said.

"Like that makes a difference," Lux mumbled, as he put on the blindfold.

He turned on his saber and stood ready to defend. Ahsoka turned on the spherical Training Remote droid, which started to float and make it's rather recognizable noise.

The droid opened fire on Lux, firing a volley of three blaster bolts. He deflected all of them.

Psshhhht

Psshhhht

The droid fired four times, and Lux deflected all the bolts again, his sky-blue lightsaber moving elegantly.

Psshhhht

The droid fired again, this time only twice. Lux again deflected all the bolts.

Suddenly, it sounded like there were more droids turned on.

Oh, 'Soka... He thought.

The spheres threw multiple volleys at Lux. While he did do a good job at deflecting the bolts, a few still managed to slip by him and hit him, causing him to receive a stinging sensation.

"Ow!" Lux exclaimed.

Eventually, he couldn't keep up his pace, as it felt like even more droids had been turned on.

Eventually, he got shot so many times that he turned of his saber and dropped it, and he fell to the floor.

"I surrender!" He yelled, taking off his blindfold. The droids (which he saw there were seven of them) stopped firing.

"Bad choice when you're going up against the Empire," Ahsoka said.

"This isn't fair!" Lux complained. "You have to at least give me a chance!"

"The Empire sure won't give you one, so why should I?"

Lux rolled his eyes.

"Oh, 'Soka..."
