This ones a little bit longer sorry!

•Ashton's POV•
I stood up from my desk for the third time this evening. I left my books, notepads, pens and post-it notes all where they were, scattered across the deep mahogany table that I had claimed as my own. I tucked my laptop back into my bag though, carrying it with me, slung on my shoulder as I made my way over to the small Starbucks we had on campus. I pulled out my money as I walked. The coffee's here were slightly cheaper, being on campus and all but barely.
"Hi, er, can I get a caramel macchiato please? Actually, can you make that a latte with a double shot of expresso? Yeah... wait. No, can I just get a caramel macchiato?" There was a queue and the short, blonde girl in front of me sighed in frustration at the same time that I did. I had a lot of work to do, I just needed a coffee. I pulled out my phone to check the time. 23:47pm. I had a long night ahead of me.
After about 10 minutes, which felt like a lifetime, I managed to get my coffee and make my way back over to my self-made study area. I carefully took out my laptop again, placing it on the table careful to not make any noise in the silent area of the library even though I could hear the buzz of someone's earphones nearby as they played their music too loud.
The first week of university had been ridiculously fun, going out every night and meeting new people but now the real work had started and I had put it off for too long. I had two, 2000 word essays due in for the end of the week and it was Tuesday evening. I had approximately two days until all of it needed to be handed in as well as being submitted online and I had barely started. I was only 400 words into my first essay.
A chair scraped along the floor and a quiet "shit" was uttered from across the table. My head shot up from flicking through the pages of one of the many books I had taken off the shelves to find the information I knew was in it, along with a dozen other people so see who had broken the silence. I recognised the girl from the queue. She was the short blonde girl from earlier. She had bright blue eyes and rosy cheeks, a typical and stereotypical blonde girl. That was apart from her clothing. She wore all black, there was even black painted on each of her small fingernails.
"Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" the girl leaned over, slightly exposing her cleavage. "I was sitting right next to the arsehole with his music at top volume." She explained in a whisper. Someone shushed her from a few feet away and the girl held her hands up apologetically, a grimace on her face. She turned back to me however, and rolled her eyes.
I pushed my glasses back up my nose, "Yeah, sure." Her eyes seemed to widen at my Australian accent as everyone's usually did, the question of 'why would you leave Australia for England' imprinted on their face. I gestured at all the empty seats opposite me with a smile before returning to my book.
I managed to get another 300 words done, mostly all quotations, but still, that counted, before my eyes flickered back to the blonde girl. I watched as she took her glasses out of her bag before she hastily placed them on her face, her laptop screen creating a white glare on the lenses as she also gazed down at one of her book, reading a sentence or two before turning a couple of pages. She reached up before placing her glasses on her head, her blonde hair pushed back exposing a small golden hoop in the top of her ear. Her perfectly shaped eyebrows were furrowed in concentration as she furiously tapped the keys on the laptop in front of her and her mouth was slightly open, revealing just two of her top teeth. All of a sudden she looked up and caught me staring at her. I caught her smile at me before my eyes quickly darted back down, a blush growing on my cheeks. Embarrassing.
Ashton, if that isn't a sign to get back to your work, I don't know what is. I put my head down, copying the girls' movements as now I was the one furiously typing on my keyboard. Why did this seem to take so long? Sticking to the correct format was even harder. Using footnotes and double spacing was a pain in the arse. At least it was included in the word count. I needed to get the body of the essay finished quickly because I knew that I would spend ages agonizing over what to write in the introduction and conclusion. Checking the time again, I saw that it was now nearly 1am. How had so much time passed?! My phone flashed from the corner of my eye and I couldn't resist looking at it and replying to the message which was from Calum, one of my friends from back home. He'd gone to do some football scholarship in America and I had chosen England for my second year placement. I loved England and when the opportunity came to study abroad here, I took it.
Ash. I love university. I met this amazing girl. Omg Ash, if you could see her!
I smiled at my phone before quickly typing back.
Get in there mate! I would love university more if I wasn't stuck in the library.
About a minute passed before I received an answer from Calum.
Life sucks for you, my man. Miss you babe x
I laughed quietly before placing my phone into my bag, putting away the distraction. I quickly scanned the library, looking for another way to procrastinate only to see the blonde girl's head quickly shift down. Had she just been looking at me too? Calum's text from popped into my head. I shook my head, I was getting ahead of myself.
My phone went off, playing 'American Idiot' by Green Day loudly and I groaned, slamming my hand down to turn off the noise that assaulted my ears, trying to wake me up. I lay there in the silence for a few minutes, gathering the strength to get up. I had to go to the library again today. I had to.
I got up, running my hands through my messy mop of brown hair that crowned my head. I really needed a haircut, as my mum would not-so-politely remind me every time I got a minute, difference in time zones permitting, to Skype her. I chuckled, remembering the last time we Skyped and my little brother Harry making fun of me but ruffling up his blonde hair, my sister Lauren making silly faces at me in the background.
I quickly had a shower before dressing in black skinny jeans and a green shirt. I shoved on my favourite brogue shoes and glasses before grabbing my coat, scarf and bag, which still contained everything I took to the library yesterday and quickly leaving my room, aware of the fact that the bus was going to leave from the stop around the corner in 5 minutes.
I had to jog the last few steps to the bus stop, joining the large crowd that stood waiting for the same one to take them to the university campus. From the looks of it, we would barely all be able to fit on. Luckily, I was one of the last people on and I made my way to the top deck, searching for a seat, again, it seemed like luck was on my side as there was a seat right at the front. I made my way towards it before I accidentally dove into the seat as the bus began to move.
"Oops, sorry about that." I apologised to the girl who occupied the seat next to me as I'd nudged her in my haste to sit down. I turned towards her to see if she was pissed at me or not and my eyes widened.
"Oh hey, you're that girl from the library yesterday, right?" I smiled at her, fully turning my body now.
"Right. My name's (Y/N) by the way." She smiled back, holding out her hand. I chuckled before I stretched out my own hand to shake hers.
"You have a lovely name, (Y/N). Mine is Ashton." I settled back into my seat, finally placing my bag down on the floor in between my feet.
"Thanks Ashton. So you're Australian? Your accent is amazing." I tingled at the sound of her saying my name and at the compliment.
"Thank you (Y/N), yeah I'm studying abroad for a year."
"Must be quite a struggle getting used to this weather then." (Y/N) smiled, a hint of a laugh playing around her lips as she took in my padded coat and scarf.
"Yep! I was totally unprepared, it's fucking freezing. I think English people must be born with an extra layer of fat or something to keep themselves warm." I joked.
"Ashton, what are you trying to say?" She leaned her body closer to mine as if whispering a secret. "Need I remind you that you're surrounded by English people, we're not all as polite as the stereotype suggests." She nudged my arm before leaning back away from me. I watched as she took out a lip balm from her bag, dipping her finger into the pot before spreading it over her soft pink lips, making them even pinker from the strawberry coloured stuff. Before I could stop myself I was imagining what that stuff would taste like and how kissing (Y/N) would feel, her lips now glistening in the morning sun that streamed through the window of the bus as it trundled along. I yawned widely.
"Someone needs a coffee." (Y/N) remarked, yawning herself.
"Are you talking about me or you?" I giggled, all at once becoming embarrassed by my stupid laugh.
"Touché Ashton." She giggled along with me, making me feel somewhat at ease.
Getting off the bus, we both made our way to the library's Starbucks which had obviously become a regular haunt of mine. I would save myself a lot of money if I made a flask to bring with me but I couldn't stand that instant stuff and I couldn't afford a proper coffee machine.
"I would save so much money if I liked that instant stuff." My eye's widened at her comment.
"I was literally just thinking that. Weird huh?"
"Very weird. Hi, can I get a Toffee Nut Latte please?" Her short body leaned over the counter as if trying to make herself heard more clearly by the barista.
"Make that two" I passed over money for both of our drinks.
"Ashton, don't be silly. Here." (Y/N) placed her money in my hand but I shoved it back to her. The cashier looking slightly confused, unsure as to whether to cash my money or not.
"(Y/N) you aren't getting this drink for free. Let's call this a date and then we're even." I smirked at her whilst she stood, her mouth slightly open. I could practically see the thoughts whizzing across her mind.
"Okay." She said with certainty. "But I have a lecture in like 20 minutes."
"Well, a lot can happen in 20 minutes." I laughed and she joined in with me.
"Don't get ahead of yourself Ashton." She swatted at my arm before sliding into one of the booths that lined the café, my mind wandering back to what I thought to myself last night. We both settled into the comfy leather seats, me placing my coffee on the table in front of me and her holding hers in both of her small hands and blowing on the top to cool it down.
"So (Y/N) tell me about yourself, don't forget we only have..." I checked my watch. "18 minutes." I looked up and smiled at her, yet again. I don't think I'd stopped smiling since we spoke on the bus.
"I don't know what to tell you about myself." Her eyebrows were furrowed.
"Okay, I'll start!" I cleared my throat overdramatically, making her giggle. "My name is Ashton Fletcher, don't laugh-" She stifled a giggle and I rolled my eyes at her before smiling. "Irwin. I am 20 years old and I am Australian, more specifically from Sydney. I am here studying Education Studies, I would love to be a music teacher. I play the drums. I live with my mum, my little sister Lauren and little brother Harry and my dog, Indie. I love Green Day and Nickleback and Will Smith and I also love bananas and lattes, although, not together. There." I fake wiped sweat from my forehead. "Your turn." (Y/N)'s eyes crinkled in the corners as she smiled at me before she began.
"My name is (Y/F/N). I am 18 years old, making me a first year student here. I'm from just outside of London and I'm studying English Literature and Publishing. I don't play any instruments but I love to draw, even though I'm rubbish. I also live with my mum, my sister and my brother but I have a cat. I love The Smiths, The 1975 and Hozier. I also love reading and fun fact: I don't have one of those connecty things in my mouth, you know..." She pulled her lower lip down, showing she did not, indeed have one of those pieces of skin that connected your lip to your gum. "And yeah... that's me."
"Ew, that's gross!" I giggled, feeling around my mouth with my tongue to check I had one.
"Well Ashton Fletcher Irwin... I have 5 minutes to get to my lecture so I shall see you another time. Hopefully." A subtle blush began to creep up on her cheeks and she looked down as she got up, not meeting my eyes. Yes, it was adorable.
"Hey, (Y/N), before you go... can I get your number?" She smiled as if she had been waiting for me to ask and silently passed me her phone. She surprised me by giving me a hug when I stood up before tiptoeing to kiss me lightly on the cheek.
---------------------
The rest of the day was extremely dull compared to the morning I had. I found myself constantly scanning the library, searching for (Y/N) just hoping that she'd come into the library, however, she never did and quite soon I stopped myself from looking around for her. I managed to get my head down, literally, and finish both of my essays.
I finally left the library at 7pm feeling a lot lighter, the burden of my work now off my shoulders. However, I felt the pressure elsewhere as I sat on the bus, a raging headache making my eyes squint and crave the dark of my small room back at my accommodation.
---------------------
I woke up in a pitch black room and grappled around on my bedside table for my phone. The light made me groan, my eyes struggling to adjust. 10:24pm glared out and the first thing that I thought of was (Y/N). What the hell was happening? I spoke to her for about 25 minutes, in total. How could she affect me so much?
I unlocked my phone and started to type.
Hi (Y/N), it's Ashton, what are you up to? It was only moments later that my phone buzzed with a reply.
Just about to watch a film. Do you want to come over and watch it?
Depends what film.
Ok Mr. Film Critic. I'm going to watch Love Actually, you know, as it is Christmas.
Fine! I'll be over in 5. What room is yours?
Block C, 201. Text me when you're outside and I'll let you in.
I shoved my shoes on, pulling at my shirt that was creased from where I'd napped. I quickly took it off, pulling my burgundy plaid shirt on instead. I ruffled my hair in front of the mirror and sprayed some deodorant on before I rushed out of the door.
I text (Y/N) telling her to hurry up as it was freezing and I couldn't help but look at her bum as her hips wiggled whilst she led the way to her room. Despite having limited conversation with (Y/N) I felt comfortable with her. It was weird.
"Yeah, I kind of feel the same. It is weird isn't it?" (Y/N) said once I'd told her what I was thinking.
We sat close together, not that we had a choice, we both sat on her bed, our backs against her pillows facing her laptop that sat on her desk at the end of the bed. The film showed the scene at the school play where the girl, Joanna I think, was singing 'All I Want for Christmas is You' and the boy was killing it on the drums.
"Ash! This is my favourite part." In her excitement she'd grabbed my hand that lay resting on my leg. "Oops sorry." She muttered once she'd realised what she'd done.
"Ash?" I asked, avoiding (Y/N)'s embarrassment.
"Uh, yeah. I think it's cute." For the second time today, she blushed, her cheeks glowing a beautiful rosy pink.
I struggled to pin point when exactly I had felt the familiar buzz of sexual tension but I knew that it was definitely there. Our eyes kept darting to each other, only for it to end with us giggling quietly at each other when we spotted the other one looking, my heart picking up whenever this happened. Our bodies pressed together, plus the darkness of the room were a lethal combination in making me want to place my fingers under her chin, bringing her face towards mine and placing a chaste kiss on her lips.
All of a sudden I was taken out of my daydream as the film credits started rolling. We sat there for a while in silence. I shifted down her bed, my feet dangling off the end of the small single bed and turned my body to face away from (Y/N).
"Right. Night then!" I said, shutting my eyes, a smile struggling to take over my face.
"I don't think so Ash." I felt (Y/N)'s hands move to my abdomen before she started to tickle me making me thrash around on her bed trying to wriggle free of her hands. It wasn't long till we were both laughing loudly and I was out of breath from all the wriggling.
"Okay! Stop! (Y/N)!" She finally stopped tickling me and I found her leaning over me, my back now pressed to her mattress, her hand leaning on my chest. Everything seemed to stop right then and I heard (Y/N)'s breath catch in her throat as I looked into her sparkling blue eyes. I placed my hand on top of hers, holding her tiny fist in my large palm and brought it to my lips, placing a soft kiss on her index finger. Her eyes followed my movements but she didn't look upset or look like I'd gone too far. Instead, she leaned down further, her chest pressing to mine and I leaned my head up slightly, moving to meet her lips. I wasn't wrong. They tasted like strawberries.
---------------------
After our kiss I told (Y/N) that I wanted to get to know her more which was exactly what I did. We went on multiple dates, to the cinema, to the park, to the o-so-British fish and chip shop, to The Nest (a bar which had live music every night from local talent. "You should play Ash." She told me cheekily. "Drum solo after drum solo, sounds magical." I replied) and finally to another coffee shop which had the best coffee in the whole of England, I was convinced.
From the weeks we had spent together I had found out a lot about (Y/N) along with all the stuff she had told me about her on our first semi-date. I found out that she hated salt, on anything. I discovered how her eyes would all but practically close when she laughed really hard and also when she laughed like this, she was incapable of doing anything. She could barely stand and God forbid if she was holding anything. I found out that she had a very quick temper that could easily be warded off with a hug or a joke. She also cried easily at films but hated to admit it and oddly enough, she hated tea and the smell of flowers. I also learned that (Y/N) made me happy and despite her strange affliction to salt and that weird lip thing, she could possibly be the perfect one for me.
---------------------
I lay on (Y/N)'s bed in the bedroom that was almost identical to mine apart from the floral bed sheets and the numerous amount of pictures, both personal and artistic that lined the walls. I was out of breath again, but this time, I wasn't being tickled.
I took a breath before our lips crashed back together, her hands were running all over my body, down my torso, along my shoulders, up my back, her fingers intertwining with mine. She was everywhere and my skin felt like it was on fire. I flipped us over my hand now playing with the waistband of her jeans whilst she pulled my top off over my head, her top following soon after, exposing her perfect breasts in her extremely sexy black bra.
Every time we made out, we seemed to be hungry each other, craving everything that the other person had to give. Craving their kisses, craving their touches, craving their skin on their own. My lips found her neck as her back arched into me, my hand simultaneously unzipping her jeans and fiddling with the tiny bow on her underwear. My mouth reached hers yet again as I rubbed my hand over her clothed clit making her utter a soft whimper. I moved my body down her bed and looked up at her, she nodded with a desperate look on her face, giving me permission to take her jeans and panties and pull them slowly, teasingly down her legs.
"Ahh, Ash!" she said, an edge of frustration tainting her tone which made me chuckle.
I felt myself become increasingly turned on at the sight of (Y/N) bare in front of me. I wrapped by arms around her thighs, spreading my hands on her hips before I licked up her folds, again, another whimper escaping from her mouth. My tongue worked its way to her clit, rubbing harshly, whilst I held her hips down as they tried to buck, searching for more friction. Taking one hand away, I pushed one single finger into her, curling it, trying to find her g spot. My tongue still lapped at her clit whilst my finger curled. An all familiar "shit" followed by a sharp intake of breath let me know that my finger had found what it was looking for and I added another finger. The way her body was responding to me made me almost painfully hard.
"Ash... I'm coming." (Y/N)'s voice came out raspy and I changed positions, my thumb now rubbing severely against her clit whilst my tongue dove in and out of her, her juices pooling on my tongue as she came.
Quickly my mouth met hers and she moaned at the taste of herself on my tongue. I hastily pulled my own jeans and boxers down as my body was full of lust. She was so beautiful as she lay there with her cheeks flushed my favourite shade of pink, her eyes dark and glittering and her chest heaving from her orgasm. I thought of teasing her more, of running my hard on against her core, making her make my favourite noise, her whimper but I was now needier than she was. I placed my hands on either side of her head before I gently pushed into her, a heavy sigh leaving both of us. As my thrusts picked up I watched (Y/N) as she kissed my arm, grabbing onto my wrist, digging her fingernails into my skin. I looked down at her body, the perfectly smooth lines of her breasts, all the way down to her navel, seeing her thighs bent around my body, watching myself enter her again and again. Everything was turning me on and the sound of our breathing, the slapping of our skin and (Y/N)'s quiet moans filled the room as my hair flopped over my eyes.
"Come for me baby, I'm so close Ash. Fuck." She practically panted out her words and just as she asked, I felt a build-up of pressure before it was bittersweetly released as I came hard my mouth once again finding (Y/N)'s as I kissed her lips softly.
"Fuck" I uttered, "I hope your roommates didn't hear that." We both laughed as I pulled the covers up and around us, (Y/N) snuggling into my chest.
