*2 weeks later*

After I found out I was pregnant, waves of different emotions were radiating through me. One moment I was happy, the next sad, excited, then terrified. My anxiety definitely wasn't going to help me during the next nine months, especially because my hormones were completely out of balance.

Today we were driving back to Bath to talk to my parents. Although they have been split up for a while, I'd managed to persuade them both to come together just for today.

We arrived at my Dad's house, all of my extended family were there too so we didn't have to tell them all individually.

"Zoe, how are you darling? It's been too long since I last saw you" Dad said as he answered the door, "come on through, everyone's already here"

"I'm fine Dad, honest" I replied, he had a worried quiver in his voice. I had been worrying about this day since I found out about this, how would they all react?

Alfie sat down on the last remaining seat as I perched on his knee.

"Everyone, me and Alfie have an announcement to make," I said, the adrenaline running through my veins, "I'm 5-6 weeks pregnant."

I sat in the silence of the room, eyes closed, waiting for all the hate to come my way.

"I'm going to be an Uncle!" Joe called out, I looked up, everyone was smiling.

Then everyone starting congratulating us, I felt fine now, the weight had been taken of my shoulders.

I felt a firm pair of hands on my shoulders, I looked up. It was Dad. A smile was firmly placed on his face.

"Congratulations darling, you've done me proud" I could see the twinkle of a tear in his eye. I reached up and gave him a big hug.
