Reincarnated Love || Yoonseok [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1

Year 1809

In a small village located somewhere in Seoul, there lived a young couple. They were known as Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok. Everyday the two boys go to the center of the village to teach children how to read and write. The locals were very fond of the kind and caring boys. They were always together, almost inseparable.

Today, the couple decided to take a small break at a field which was close to their home. They were a bit tired after teaching a lot of the children this morning. Yoongi was leaning against a tree while Hoseok was laying his head on the other's lap. Yoongi was gently stroking Hoseok's hair. It was so quiet and calming  that the older boy almost fell asleep.

"Yoongi, I have a question." Hoseok spoke out of the blue, breaking the silence between the two.

Hoseok lifted his head a bit and stared at the other as he waited for an answer.

"What is it Hoseok?" Yoongi said as he stopped what he was doing.

"Do you believe in reincarnation?"

Yoongi was a little surprised by the younger boy's question. But nonetheless, he softly smiled at him before he answered.

"I do."

"Why do you ask tho?" Yoongi now asking Hoseok.

"Nothing actually, I was just curious." Hoseok said while he averted his gaze away from Yoongi as he blushed.

"Oh, alright." Yoongi giggled as he could tell that the other boy was embarrassed by his question. Then he continued to stroke the boy's hair.

It was just another peaceful day in the village... but unfortunately it didn't last long.

A few hours later they decided to head back to the village.

"Hoseok dear, could you get my books? I can't reach them." Yoongi sighed as he gave up on getting the books that was placed on the high shelf.

"Sure thing." The taller boy giggled as he put down the blanket he just folded. He grabbed the books Yoongi pointed out and gave it to the other.

While gathering the materials they'll use to teach the children this afternoon, the two suddenly heard screaming outside their shared home.

"What was that?" Yoongi said as he placed the books he was holding on the table near him.

"Someone must be in danger." Hoseok responded.

"Yoongi hyung! Hoseok hyung! We need to leave the village right now!" A boy with a deep voice was running towards their house covered in sweat and by the looks of him he was clearly panicking.

"Calm down Taehyung, what's happening?" Yoongi questioned the younger boy who was clearly scared of something.

"Bandits raided the other part of the village! Come on we need to leave now!" The boy started pulling the two outside. The three were now running.

"Where are the others?" Hoseok asked as he saw no one in the village besides the three of them.

"The others have already left." Taehyung explained.

As they were running Hoseok spots a crying boy not far from their current position.

"Wait! There's a kid right there, we can't leave him behind!" Hoseok yanked his hand from the younger boy's grip causing the three of them to stop running.

"Fine, but be quick." Taehyung stated as he can't argue with his hyung.

"I'll go with you." Yoongi said before Hoseok went to the boy.

"You can go ahead Taehyung, we'll catch up with you." Hoseok said then started to walk up to the crying boy.

"Please be careful hyungs, the bandits are close." Taehyung said despite not wanting to leave his hyungs behind.

"We will." Yoongi as he looked at him before following Hoseok.

Taehyung then ran to where the villagers where hiding, leaving Yoongi and Hoseok who decided to save the crying boy.

"Hey, please don't cry. Where are your parents?" Hoseok approached the boy, Yoongi was behind him checking if the place was still safe.

The boy  started giggling then it slowly turned into a laugh which started to scare Hoseok.

"What's wro-" Before finishing his question the boy suddenly spoke up.

"Now boys." The kid said in a low voice.

Then suddenly 2 men appeared  from the house they were beside and tackled the Hoseok and Yoongi to the ground.

"Yoongi!" Hoseok screamed.

Before he could speak again a knife was lightly pressed against his neck which caused him to gulp in fear.

He looked at Yoongi who was in the same situation.

"It looks like we have a couple here." Another man who appeared stated as he looked down on the two defenseless boys.

By the looks of them the two boys could tell they were the bandits Taehyung mentioned earlier. The man was their leader and apparently the little boy was a bandit too. No  wonder he looked unfamiliar to Hoseok.

"I see you've met my son. Wasn't his acting just wonderful?" The man said as he patted the head of his son. The young boy then grinned at his father.

"What do you want from us?!?" Yoongi said screaming at the man.

"Give us all your money." The leader's son exclaimed.

"We don't have any. Please let us go!" Hoseok pleaded.

"I can't let that happen. Since you got nothing on you, I guess we'll just sell your bodies." Their leader said as he looked at his men who were holding the two.

The knives on there necks were pressed deeper causing a little blood to come out.

"Any last words?" The man said as he gave them a few moments to say whatever they wanted.

Not wanting to waste anytime Hoseok decided to speak up since this will probably be the last time him and Yoongi will be together.

"H-hey Yoongi..." Hoseok said as he started stuttering.

"Y-yes Hoseok?" Yoongi was stuttering too.

"P-promise me that in our next life we'll always be together." Hoseok said with his voice cracking.

"I promise." Yoongi softly responded to his lover as he heard what the other said.

"How touching." The man sarcastically said.

"Now get rid of them and make sure to bring their bodies later. " Their leader said as he walked away with his son and left his underlings to finish the job.

The two lovers looked at each other for the very last time. Despite the condition they were in right now they still managed to give a reassuring smile to one another, indicating that everything will alright.

But their moment was cut short as the two men who were holding them down sliced their throats causing both of their bodies to limp on the ground and after a few seconds they were now lifeless.
