Chapter 7

"Gather around class." Their teacher said as she called her students to sit in a circle.

Everyone changed into sweat pants and shirts. They all sat in a a half circle facing their teacher and were told to sit next to their partners. Even tho Yoongi wanted to be as far away as possible from Hoseok he didn't want to fail his class.

"Alright, our class is assigned to do ballroom dances." Their teacher says as she looks at the paper with their activity.

"I will call you and your partner's name, both of you are going to come in front to pick from this box to know what you will perform." Their teacher says with a smile.

They all nod in agreement then she grabs the box with papers in them.

"Park Sooyoung and Bae Joohyun." She says with the small box in her left hand and her list in the other one.

Joy and Irene stand up and go up their teacher. Joy puts her hand inside the box to pull one paper out.

"We got Tango." Irene informs their teacher.

"You may go back now." Their teacher says as she writes it on her list.

They both go back to their seat and start discussing their dance.

"Park Chanyeol and Byun Baekhyun."

Chanyeol and Baekhyun do the same as the two girls. Beakhyun puts his hand in the box to pick a paper.

"Samba." Chanyeol says.

"Alright, you can go back now." She says as she writes it down as well.

"Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok." Their teacher says as she looks at the two boys.

"Get up shrimpy." Hoseok says as he stands up amd waits for Yoongi to do the same.

"Stop calling me that." Yoongi says in a low but irritated tone as he stands up as well.

"Where's the fun in that?" Hoseok says as they walk up to their teacher.

Yoongi puts his hand in the box then pulls it out with a piece of paper.

"Waltz." Hoseok says to their teacher then falshes a smile at her.

Yoongi slightly panicked since he didn't really know how to dance. The teacher somehow noticed it and told him something.

"Don't worry Yoongi, you have Hoseok as your partner. I'm sure he can teach you." She said with a reassuring smile.

"I hope so." Yoongi says as he looks at Hoseok who was looking at him already.

"Now go back to your seats." She says as she writes their dance on her list.

They went back to their seats as their teacher continues to call their classmates. Yoongi sighs then Hoseok suddenly asks him.

"What did she mean by don't worry? You can't dance?" Hoseok asked while slightly tilting his head.

"Yeah." Yoongi says as he avoids Hoseok's gaze.

"You can't be that bad?" Hoseok says with one of his eyebrows up. Yoongi doesn't answer.

After a few minutes their teacher finally writes down the last pair. She puts her clipboard aside before starting their practice.

"Now you can discuss the dance you pick with your partners. If you are already done you may proceed with practicing the first steps." Their teacher says.

All of them positioned in their own spots and started practicing and talking.

"Let's start shrimpy." Hoseok says as he starts stretching a bit while waiting for Yoongi.

Yoongi doesn't even bother to answer and just goes near Hoseok to start practicing.

"You know the basics right?" Hoseok asks and Yoongi just nods.

Hoseok suddenly pulls him closer to his body which made Yoongi flustered.

He held Yoongi by his upper back with his right hand while wating for the boy to hold the other one.

"Hold my other hand." Hoseok says as he looks at the shorter boy.

"Okay." Yoongi answered with a low shaky voice. It was obvious that he was nervous.

"Okay we can start now, watch your feet." Hoseok says as both of them position their feet.

Hoseok then steps forward with one foot while Yoongi steps back with one foot as well. It was fine after a few steps until Yoongi accidentally moves his foot forward and collides with Hoseok's foot.

"I said watch your step shrimp." Hoseok said as he still held Yoongi who just looked away.

"So you really can't dance huh?" Hoseok asks as he separates from Yoongi.

"I am perfectly aware of that, dick head." Yoongi says as he crosses his arms, still looking away from Hoseok.

The bell suddenly rings.

"That's it for today class, we'll continue tomorrow. But make sure to practice with your partner so you can get along." She says as directs her gaze at Yoongi and Hoseok.

"Yes ma'am." All of them answer.

"Good, you are now dismissed." She says while she starts arranging her things.

Her students start leaving and she leans down a bit to get the papers she put down earlier. She peeks at Hoseok and Yoongi who were one of the last to leave.

Hoseok put his foot in front of Yoongi's causing the older boy to lose his balanace but he regains it. He then punches the shoulder of boy who almost tripped him. It made Hoseok laugh since it didn't hurt much. When they both left the dance hall she continued what she was doing but mumbled something.

"They look cute together." She said then she giggles.

(With Hoseok and Yoongi)

The two were walking out the school since their last class was finished. Hoseok was about  to say something but Yoongi was ahead of him so he pulled the older boy's backpack which made him stumble back.

"Since it will take you forever to learn the dance. You have to go to my house so I can teach you." Hoseok says as he looks at him.

"Did you really have to pull me?!" Yoongi says as he glares up at Hoseok.

"Sorry, not sorry." Hoseok said.

"I'll just text you, make sure to be there. Bye shrimpy." Hoseok continues then hops on his skateboard then leaves Yoongi

As Hoseok leaves he looks back at Yoongi who was already looking at him. He sticks his tongue out which the older boy saw so he did the same. Hoseok faced forward again since he might get hit if he kept looking at Yoongi.

"Not gonna lie, he might be a shrimp but he's cute." Hoseok says as he continues skating.
