__________________________________________________________________"I don't understand why you have to come to this dead place, where is everybody?" Bakugou complained as he stood against the counter while she wrote her signiture and information on the paper next to the empty desk.
It was a Saturday afternoon and the building was a ghost town, no accountants nor music played in the background, all you could hear was the sound of Bakugou's shoes tapping impatiently against the marble floor and the heavy ventilation. It smelled like cardboard and dust from where he was standing, though he didn't mind it, it was a calming scent and somewhat professional if that sounds weird.
"Thanks for coming with me. A demon could have gobbled me up any second!" She smiled.
He narrowed his brows as she giggled, her smile was almost contagious. He hated being here when he needed to store his items but it was so much better when someone else was here. She finished signing her signature on the last page and walked beside him through the empty, echoey walls. Art sat along the white walls and smelled of fresh paint.
"What are you even putting away in storage anyway? That's a giant fucking suitcase." He asked.
"Just some family photo's, old toys, and baby clothes." She shrugged.
She was lying. And he knew. They leaned against the wall to wait for the elevators to open, after the red light turned green they went inside as Bakugou pressed on the floor they wanted. There was a purple aura outlining the elevator, and as expected Bakugou's quirk no longer worked. Quirk-proof elevators were made so people don't accidentally destroy it and hurt themselves but it was such a pain, what if someone is attacked and has no way in defending themselves?
The doors closed and he heard her giggle beside him as the pressure pushed them up and then down, a funny feeling in both of their stomaches lasted longer than it should. The elevator lights turned off as it was rising, then stopped so suddenly. "What's going on?" She blinked through the dark, feeling around the small room and felt Bakugou's arm.
Before he could answer the elevator dropped them at a high speed. "Shit! Hold on!"
They were lifted off the floor and the emergency breaks stopped the elevator abruptly, they both smacked down against the floor and the light poured from the top of the room again. They sat up with red faces and the doors opened to a mere black wall. Touching and feeling around it, concrete. He couldn't use his quirk to blast through the wall or the top of the elevator and his companion forgot to bring her quirk after she was birthed. "What are we gonna do? We're stuck!"
"Idiot! I said to take your phone with you!" He yelled. "Whatever I'll...son of a bitch! I forgot to charge it!"
"...Uhm...Bakugou...Do you wanna know why nobody is here today...?" She gulped. "It's because it's Saturday..."
"...Fuck! Are we seriously gonna sleep here until tomorrow?" He groaned. "Wait...The weekend is just starting so..."
"We're not getting out until Monday." She mumbled. "...Let's get comfortable..."
He sat in disbelief, it was still morning so he had the rest of today and tomorrow to suffer. he won't sleep, go to the bathroom, eat, his friends won't notice he's gone if it's just two days. But staying alone with her? Piece of cake.
