Daichi sawamura's POV

I was on my way to karasuno when i heard someone racing up my way behind me, i assumed it was just kageyama and hinata, those first years are amazing, however they aren't that..sharp as the others

" I WIN" kageyama said shouting while panting as hinata unhappy with the outcome

" NO FAIR" Hinata responded to kageyama with a frown on his face

" I love these first years, but are they really in high school? " I thought to myself as i was sighing

" Ok you two, get inside!" I said, as i opened the gym door with my keys

Just before he went inside with the ravenette and red head, he caught giggles from the left side of his ear

" Hey daichi! " The silver-haired third said cheerfully
With a bright smile across his face

" Hey suga, goodmorning" I said sighing accompanied by relief washing over me

" You seem stressed.." Sugawara said being concerned for the captain

" How do you smile?" I questioned while having my head down walking in the gym

" Hm? What do you mean? " The third year setter said faintly, getting dizzy

" Suga? You alright? " I asked as my eyes widen seeing him so..pale and fragile.

" I'm alright! Just got dizzy " He said with a soft smile, the one i always loved

" When are you getting- " I got caught off with Tanaka and Nishinoya screaming in the backround

" Hey guys!! " Tanaka screamed while pating my back harshly

" Hey!! " The bi-colored Second year responding to his best friend

" Well aren't they happy " Sugawara wispered with a small frown

I looked at him pretending i didn't hear him, wondering if he was talking about his sickness, hearing soft footsteps Suga and i turned our heads

" Goodmorning " Asahi and Kiyoko said in sync getting in the gym

" They've been talking with each other quite recently, you think they're together? " He said full of joy, squinting his eyes

" Are you dizzy? Let's sit on the bench " I said looking at my friend, nodding a yes

Both of us quiet walking into the gym with the others,

As we sat on the bench Unpleasant aura caught my attention at our side of the gym, as i saw him fiddling with his fingers i broke the silence

" When are you getting hospitalised? " I said waiting for a response from our setter

" I don't know " The setter said teary-eyed almost bursting into tears

" Time for practice! split into 2 groups! " Coach Ukai shouted to take everyones attention

" yes sir! " We all responded aside from tsukishima, a first year who has no affection whatsoever for the sport

As we split into groups, i was with Suga, Asahi, Ennoshita, Kinoshita and Tanaka
Opposing the other team who had Hinata, Kageyama, Nishinoya, Narita, Tsukkishima and yamagucci

After practicing we finally won ahead of them with 3 points, Yachi and kiyoko was softly smiling as they reset the points ready for a second round, but i turned back to sugawara, about to faint

" Suga! Guys call someone! " I begged for help with our setter who seemed to fall on the wooden floor

I was holding his hand, it was cool almost lifeless

" On it! Yachi, Asahi let's go!" Kiyoko shouted worried for the silver-haired third year

" is this one of his symptoms? " I thought to myself hoping we was alright

" We're back with help! " Yachi shouted to tell everyone

" Where is he? " The school nurse finding him with a worried face as the others

" Over here! " I said to tell her where he had suddenly fainted

" Thank you, what's his name? " The hazel-eyed woman asked me

" Sugawara koushi " I said trying to calm down, with the situation in front of me

" Ok, can you carry him to the clinic for me? " The nurse asked me softly

" Of course " I tried saying while i struggle to hold back a tear

I carried him, as i looked at the first and second years, others were absolutely shocked..hinata on the other hand was about to cry so i reassured him

" Hinata."  I said downcasted, one of my tears falling on my cheek

" Yes.. " He said looking at me, while taking glances of the fainted setter

" He's gonna be ok, he's just tired..ok? " I said to calm him down, receiving a small sigh from him

" Ok.. " Hinata said attempting to smile for suga

As i was almost stepping out of the gym, suga in my arms, Suprised as i was, kageyama was actually comforting the other first year.

On the way to the school clinic all i could do was to stare at suga, looking lifeless, it pained me, what's going to happen now, bloody tears..will he survive with no cure for the condition?

I pace in the school clinic amd put him on a bed close to a chair, accompaning the unconscious third year beside me

" Daichi sawamura, correct? " The nurse worriedly asked me for my information

" Yes, I'm daichi sawamura " I said with no expression on my face, looking back at suga every minute

" What is your relationship with sugawara koushi? " She asked me again, it was awkward and silent i look back to suga

" We're good friends." I say blankly looking away from her, giving all my attention to the vice captain

" I see, you may now go i can take care him from here, i'll call his parents you don't have to worry " She said looking at me with a small smile

" Ok, thank you ma'am " I said stepping out of the room, more tears falling down on my cheek

The words " you don't have to worry " played on repeat, never ending, it was painful, i wipe my tears and go back to the gym and tell everyone about suga's situation and he is going to be ok

"  im lying to them, but i can't tell them yet " I thought to myself seeing everyone so relieved, hinata smiling as bright as before

" I'm glad he's ok, now get to class " Coach ukai said to the team, who was getting their bags and prepared for  class

On my way to class i can't forget the words " You dont have to worry " I stared at him, looking so lifeless, bloody tears? What even is that..walking down the hall with a dark aura everyone looking at me

Hearing wispers
" Is he ok? "
" I heard his friend passed out "
" Dang "

" Sawamura! What's up!" michimiya said to me as i ignored her and kept walking to my class, i know she's frowning but i can't talk to anyone, not right now.
