Chapter-2

"Okay then. Class ends here." With that, the teacher went out.

After having such long long 5 periods, it was time for lunch. Yeona and Hyejin packed all their stuff and went to the cafeteria.

On their way, they saw someone fall down very hard. They went near that person and instantly reached out for help. Yeona move her hand forward so that he can get up and Hyejin picked up all his stuff. He looked upwards and gave a big smile and took her hand and got up. After that, they started to walk.

"Are you okay?" Yeona asked as he got up.

"Here. " Hyejin handed over his stuff.

" Thank you once again." He said rearranging his glasses.

"No need. You are just too clumsy." Yeona said.

"Ay! You two know each other." Hyejin said looking at both of them.

" No just got him by chance," Yeona said looking at her.

"By chance?" Hyejin said lifting one of her eyebrows as she looked at the boy.

They went to the cafeteria. As they sat, he explained all the things that happened this morning to Hyejin.

"Oh! Now I got it!" She exclaimed.

"That means you once again got into a fight? " Hyejin said looking at her friend. She nodded her head.

Hyejin facepalmed and said with a sigh, "Why didn't you call me? It has been ages since when I last fought."

" Well," Yeona said turning to the thin figure that was sitting with them. "What is your name?"

"Park Baek Hyun." He said in a slow voice.

"Oh, nice name!" Hyejin said giving him a light blow on his arm.

"Thank you." He said in a low voice rubbing his arm simultaneously.

"Why are you saying like a girl, huh? We even don't speak like that." Hyejin said leaning back on her chair, drinking her orange juice.

Baek Hyun looked at them with wide eyes. This made Hye Jin choke on her drink and Mrinmay looked at him lifting an eyebrow.

"Are you guys girls?" Baek Hyun said looking at both of them with a confused look. Yeona burst out laughing and Hyejin again choked on her drink.

"Are you new here? I haven't seen you here." Hyejin said changing the subject. He nodded rearranging his glasses.

Something beeped.

"It's my." Beak Hyun said picking up his phone. He looked at the screen and stood up hurriedly, packing his bag.

"Where are you going?" Hyejin said drinking the last sip of her drink.

"Sorry, guys I have something very important. The teacher wants to see me in five minutes. " He said picking up his bag.

" Well let me show you the way." Hyejin offered him. He nodded.

A person with a lamp was heading towards his house through the forest road when he suddenly heard a bloody scream which came from the other end of the forest. He was bewildered about who it would be.

He thought of going over there and checking. It was bright as it was a full moon. He went towards the path, from where he heard the scream. Again a deadly scream came from that direction. He advanced towards the place.

As he neared the place he saw blood over the way. He followed the bloody path And after a while, he stopped. He raised his eyes and saw blood dripping from a corpse. He was shocked to see that. He started going back but collided with something, he fell down. He got up from there and ran away. After some time he arrived in his village. And started calling everyone.

Everyone came out of their house and asked what happened.

"Th....there is a co.....co.....corpse in the forest!" The man badly stammered and started shivering.

"What!" A man said with horror.

All the villagers panicked.

A loud sound came.

"Yeona what's that!" Her mother yelled from the kitchen.

" Nothing Ma!" She yelled back. She picked up the damn heavy box and put it near the sofa. After she plonked on the sofa.

She searched for the remote and ended up getting it under her cushion.

She started tv and then Joong Ki came and took the remote.

"Appa!" She complained.

He gestured for her to keep quiet. She didn't complain further.

Joong Ki started a news channel.

As soon as he started the News reporter said, "Today a corpse was found in Pyeongjin."

" Again!" Joong Ki said as he put down the remote.

" Today, at around 8:00 pm, I was going through the path of the forest to my house. As soon as I started walking, I heard someone's scream. And I started thinking that who is screaming in the forest. After walking for 5 minutes, I saw blood. I was terrified. Anyway, I started walking on that bloody road. After a while, I stopped, as the blood was faded and when I looked up, I saw the corpse. " The man said.

" The murder was unrecognizable. As per the investigators, it is said that the murder was done by a knife or something sharp like that." The reporter further said.

" That village will turn into a graveyard, I think," Yeona said taking an apple from the basket in front of her.

"Whatever! Go to bed now! It's very late." Seo Jin said.

" Mama! It's 10! It's not that late." Yeona said nonchalantly munching on her apple.

Her mother gave her a 'WILL-YOU-GO-OR-NOT' look. She got up from there at once and ran to her room.

She closed the door and started thinking about that case. She went up to her study table and opened her laptop.

"Let's see what we can investigate about this!"

In a dark room. A person throwing that comes in his hand. The person walked up to his board and drew a cross over someone's face and distorted it with the marker. He unpinned the photo and threw it in the bin.

The whole room was dark, just a little light was coming from something. Yeona was still investigating. She yawned and got up from there. She did some stretching and went to bed, but couldn't sleep. She looked up and saw that her windows were still open. She got up to close them, as she was closing them, she felt a chill down her spine. She shrugged it off thinking it may be because of the cold. After closing, she again plonked on her bed. This time she fell asleep after a few minutes.
