I feel like I can finally free my breath that I didn't even knew that I was holding. I compuse myself and I keep walking until I find my room B-23 and I get in without knocking since everyone is supposed to be at classes at this hour. For my surprise I open the door and instantly spot two people in there making out.
They stop and look at me and then the girl says:
"Who the fuck are you and why are you in my room? Can't you see that I'm busy?' she asks angrily.
"Hmm first of all my name is Allison and I'm in the right room." I say annoyed.
"So you're the new roommate?" she says and gets closer to me. "It's nice to meet you Allison, but you should know that the classes have already started right?"
"Yes I am aware of that".
"So my name is Hayley and this is my boyfriend Stefan." she says.
"It's nice to meet you both, now I just need to tidy up my things."
"It's a pleasure to meet you but I was just leaving" Stefan says and leaves the room.
"So do you want to go to a party tonight?- Hayley asks.
What the real fuck? I've just met her and she wants me to go to a party with her?
"I'm not sure if I have time for that, I have so many things going around in my life right now that I'm just so tired."
"I really want you to come so you can meet my friends, I'm sure you'll love them" she says with a big smile in her face
"I actually don't have so many friends so yeah I think I will go, I just need to talk with my boyfriend first." I say.
"What? You need your boyfriend's permission to go to a party?"
"No, I don't need his permission but we're not good right now and I don't want to piss him off."
"Does he attend this college?" she asks
"Yes it's our first day here today."
"So why didn't he come with you here? I'm sorry if I'm being nosy, but I'm just curious."
"I told you, we're not in good terms right now, we had a fight on the way here and I told him that I wanted.." we get interrupted by a knock on the door.
I get up and go see who knocked and as soon as I open I see it's Peter and I throw myself into his arms. I hear Hayley cough and then I leave Peter's hug and I say:
"Hayley this is Peter, Peter this is Hayley aka my new roommate"
"Oh so you are the boyfriend.." she says with a smirk that I'm not really liking.
"Yes, can you leave us for a moment so I can talk with Allison?"
He says this and I just get a bad feeling that we won't have a peaceful conversation since he don't usually call me Allison, only when he's mad with me.
"Of course I can but remember this is my room and I won't leave whenever you both want." she says that and closes the door leaving us alone in the room.
"Wow she's a little bitch don't you think?" Peter says
"Yeah a little but I think we're going to be good friends, she seems really good."
"But we aren't here to talk about your new friends, I'm here to talk about us" he says emphasizing the last word.
"What abou us?"
"I'm just tired Allison, I'm tired of us, I don't think we can be together anymore.." he says looking straight into my eyes.
"What? This is our first day here and you already want to break up with me? Did you meet someone? What's wrong with US??" I say with tears in my eyes.
"No I didn't met someone I just don't think we have the same connection that we had before, we're just so different and I want to live new things, I don't want to be stuck with you we've been that way for so many years now that I actually miss when I had my freedom."
"YOUR FREEDOM? ARE YOU ACTUALLY KIDDING ME?!!" I scream and I start hitting his chest.
"I'm sorry Allison I still love you but we need to be apart, you know we weren't working anymore..."
"If you love me, don't leave me" I say that and I kiss him, he then backs away and walks away from me,
"I'm really sorry Allison, I just don't feel attracted to you anymore...I just want us to be over"
