"Night mom, night dad," I said as I walked up to my room. It was late and I just wanted to crawl under my covers and sleep for hours. I went upstairs and changed into my pj's. As I sat in my bed I thought I heard something, something like... feathers? I looked around my room and gasped as I saw a boy about my age, maybe a little older standing on my rug in the middle of my room. "wh-wh-who are you?" I whispered to the boy. "I am Castiel," he replied. "Uh hi Castiel, I'm Katie," I said. "It is nice meeting you, Katie, " he said with a deep voice. After I realized I wasn't dreaming and he wasn't a murderer disguised as a kid, I finally asked, "So uh Castiel, why exactly are you in my room? And how did you get in here without my mom and dad noticing?" I asked. My room was on the second floor, so it's not like he could just jump through my window or anything. "I am an angel, I flew here," he said totally serious. "That's uh great, but how did you fly in? My windows are locked!" I said. "I can explain all of that later, all you need to know, is that I am sent here to protect you," he said while looking around my room. "Well Castiel, I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself ," I said inching slowly to my drawer that holds all of my salt and knives and small pistol that my dad gave me. "Of course you would think that, but Katie, you must understand that you are in more danger than you can understand," he said tilting his head. "Not anymore!" You said as you threw salt on him and started slashing with your knife. "Katie, I am an angel, salt and demon knives don't work on me," he said stepping closer. I then relaxed because if he could step off my rug (that had a Devils trap on the bottom) then I knew he wasn't a demon. "So you're really an angel?" I asked. "Yes I have been sent here by my father to watch over you." he said. "Well if your really an angel you should have wings," I said sarcastically. "Oh, my wings?" He said. Lightning lit up my room as his wings were shown behind him as a shadow. "Wow," is all I could say as I looked in wonder.
