SCOTT'S P.O.V

What do you picture when you think of hell?
Pools of burning lava?
Flames as high as Everest, licking the legs of heaven?

You would be very right. Although Hell isn't as bad as you think.

The parties never end, in fact, I can't remember a time when a party wasn't going on!

I have new friends now. Friends that don't throw you out of heaven for being in a relationship.

With a man.

I guess I deserved it, but what hurt the most is that he loved me too.

We were caught, by a guardian angel, having sex.

It was completely consensual, yet he denied it all. I was sent to court to have a hearing 'before God'.

It wasn't God who sent me down here.

Alex, oh Alex. I miss you my love. If you told me you loved me, I would forgive you in a heartbeat.

Your lust and my love was what landed me this punishment, yet I do not regret a thing.

I looked up to the roaring black night. I saw Avi and his dragon wife soar past together.

I wish I could find love like they had.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a tiny silver/white person with gorgeous feathery wings. He was singing with a voice only angels could possess.

He stopped as he realized I was staring up at him.

I finished the melody with my lower, softer voice.

We started to sing together, songs I had never even heard before.
Then, as if shameful, the slender man swooped past me and flew off.

He went up. I could barely see him now.

I missed my wings. They had grown black and jagged from the fall from heaven.

I could still feel the pain when I moved them.

I remembered plummeting through the immense heat.

I could remember the pain.

The heat.

I closed my eyes and sung an angel song I used to sing.

Calmness swept over me and I spread my wings.

I was a fallen angel and it was all over now.

I could be whoever I wanted to be.
