"You scared us Risk. I seriously thought you were going to be placed in Ravenclaw," Crabbe sighed dramatically. Everyone nodded at him in agreement, a look of relief pervading their faces.

"Well, I wish you were in that pathetic house Gem. I hate the thought of sharing a common room with you"

"Aw love you too Draco," I replied in a prissy voice. The blonde boy scolded me, but our friends laughed at my remark.

"First years this way, please," Our perfect practically yelled as he made his way towards the dungeons. All of us trailing behind him.

"The passcode changes every night. Tonight it is 'Pureblood'"

With that, the door to our room opened, revealing a dark, cold common room.

"Very lively in here" Coco looked around in sheer revulsion.

"What did you expect Coco? Rainbows?" I questioned. I for one liked the mysteriously dim room. However, this place was nothing like Risk Mansion or Malvada Manor. Instead, it radiated Malfoy Manor with a hint of depression. 

I loved it.

"No, just maybe some more color" The girl replied as she took a seat on one of the emerald couches. There were a few of these couches spread around the large room. Some were gathered in front of a large fireplace. While others were spread out amid all the tables and chairs that students seemed to already be studying on.

"At least the chairs are velvet. I heard all the other common rooms get leather or cotton" I said in an attempt to optimize the room. Severus had told me that the most money was spent on the Slytherin common room. My family alone has donated a good amount of money to keep the place renovated.

"I believe Blaise and I are sharing a room" Draco explained as he made his way back from the dorms.

Coco and I both realized that we had rooms as well, and excitedly ran upstairs. I had begged my godfather to put us together in the biggest room possible. He reluctantly agreed.

"Oh Gem, look at this place. It's beautiful" Coco gasped as she dived on to her large bed. Unlike the common room, our dorm was bright and lively. It was located above the Black Lake, so it allowed some sunlight to shine in through the windows. Illuminating our wooden floors and furniture.

I moved over to the bed that had my bags on it. A note was placed neatly on top of them.

"You're welcome -Severus,"

My lips pursed into a smile, I set the card aside. Before I could even admire the rest of the room, a loud crash had erupted downstairs.

"GEMINI MEGAMI NARCISSA RISK!" Draco's voice roared from the common room.
