Chapter 28

Stella POV

[August 29, 2020]- 12:09 am

"A-are we there yet?" I titled my head, as Auntie Jas steered the wheel.

"Nop." Auntie Jas mouthed and keeps her smiles up while steering the wheel.

I frown and look back at the window.

'Sister, I'm coming. I hope you're doing well there.' I thought while leaning into the seat and tiredly yawns. "Stella, you should sleep for now..." Jasmine traces and saw Stella sleeping soundly in the seat, she smiled as she saw drools coming from the little sleeping angel.

"Ah~ what an angel she is." Jasmine softly said as she keeps her eyes on the road.

"You useless, brat! Do your work properly!"

"I-I... I'm hun-ngry... c-can I have s-s-some?" I weakly raise my hands asking for food, begging to Auntie Susan.

"You don't get to eat until you finish your job, brat!" She screamed at my face, then...

'SLAP!'

"Ah!" I shouted and fell into the ground while touching my swollen red right cheek. After Auntie Susan saw my pathetic state, she smirks and went inside the cabin, and I heard the doors lock. 'S-she locked m-me out...' I mentally cried, feeling my chest burns in sadness.

I then whimper, letting my tears fall and clench the dirt in the ground. 'Why did my parents not take me with them... I hate living here.' I thought, wiping my tears away and slowly stands up, still exhausted and hungry.

'GROWLS~' My stomach growls in hunger.

'I should just finish splitting the woods...' I ignore the hunger and tiredly walks into the back house to split the woods into halves.

I grab the ax with my two little bare hands and weakly swung it into the wood. I hit the wood, but unfortunately, it didn't split into half. I put my foot in the wood freeing the ax and grabs the wood back in its position, and holds the ax again, clenching it tightly as I gritted my teeth and raise the ax in both hands, and brings it down hard as I successfully split the wood into half.

"Ah... Ah..." I catch my breath and wipes my sweat in my forehead, and sat on the ground. 'I'm soo tired... I can't finish this by night...' I lie on the grass, covering my head in my arms as I tiredly huff in exhaustion.

'I'm hungry and tired... I wish... my parents brought me with them.' My eyes look up into the sky and saw the beautiful sunset going down. I then close my eyes and went into a deep sleep.

"YOU BITCH!"

I quickly opened my eyes and saw Auntie Susan screaming, and coming closer to me with her flush angry face.

"You brat! You did not finish your work!" She shouted as she grabs my hair harshly, dragging me inside the house, while I struggle and reach my hands to my hair.

While dragging me into the floor, Auntie Susan-husband came. "Tch, she did not do her job, right?" He clicks his tongue, glaring at me with his displease face.

"Honey, give this useless brat a lesson." She said throwing me into the floor and left.

"U-uncle Tony, I-I'm sorry I-I will do my j-job n-nex- UGRH!" I was not able to finish my words when Uncle Tony stomps his feet into my back.

I cried as he pushes more weight into it, "You think this Uncle will be merciful for you? You lazy ass." He said, pulling his foot away from my back and grabs my hair, pulling me up on the floor.

"AH!" I shouted in pain, clinging into his arms as he pulls me up with my hair. Then he raises his fist into the air and punches it right into my face.

"S-stop..." I said while he keeps punching me into the face. "S-sto-" I continued to beg as Uncle keeps punching, making my lips bleed and cheeks even more swollen.

"St-stop..." I repeated as my arms gave up and falls into my side, hanging as I let Uncle punches me. "S-s-stop."

"S-stop-p..."

"..."

After he lets out all his punches at me, he lets my hair go, letting me helplessly fall into the floor with my face ruined and bleeding, I whimper in pain and lose consciousness not before seeing his grin face.

"Stella."

'Huh?'

"Stella..."

'...'

"Stella."

"Stella~" I woke up to Auntie Jas calls and saw her shaking me awake. "A-auntie?" I cutely said while I lean into the window.

"Stella, were already here in the lab." Auntie Jas said with a smile and walks out the car, and went into my side, opening the car door. She grabs me on the waist and pulls me out of the car, "Okay, hold my hands so you don't get lost, okay?"

I lazily nod and grabs her hands as we walk inside the lab.

"I'm Capt. Hourter and were here to visit Sir. Blanc for a team meeting." Jasmine said to the guard, while the guard nods and lets us in the entrance.

While silently walking into the coolest hallway that I have never seen in my entire life. Jasmine looks at me and smiled, "I can't wait for Blanc to meet you!" She happily said, turning right and keeps walking.

"Is Sister A-Aspira there?" I ask, still wanting to see Sister.

"Yeah, the team and everyone should be there..." She added as we keep marching through the hall.

'RRRRRRRRR!' The loud alarm suddenly showed up.

"Waah... this is not happening." Auntie Jas said with a worried face, as the hall light turns into red with the loud alarming noise going crazy.

"What i-is going on?" I ask Auntie Jas, but all she did was pulled me into an empty office room and quickly lock the door behind us.

I stand quietly as I saw Auntie Jas, starts to open some drawers and pulls a gun out, loading them with bullets.

'?' I questionably thought with my feet on the ground, while Auntie Jas looks into my eyes and went in front of me.

"Stella, do me a favour." She said, kneeling in front of me.

"I want you to stay and hide in this room. And... NEVER EVER leave this room, understand?" She said in a serious tone with her eyes looking at me.

I stayed quiet and nods. "Okay, hide under the desk, while I leave and lock this door... But don't worry I will be back." I did, what she said me to do and hides under the table, then I heard the door opened and close with a clicking sound in it.

'I'm lock-in here... I hope she's safe... and Sister Aspira.' I grab my knees into my chest and worriedly thought of them.

I don't like being lock-in here...
