The hidden enemy

Everything was black.A big explosion happened.The house was in fire.Everything was destroyed now..Everything.

-Oh my God Alex! Arielle come here!

Arielle started crying.

You hugged her.

-Alex what happened?

-The puppy had been wrapped with an explosive device!

-Who did that?

-I-I don't know.Let's get out of here and call the police.

The police and the fire department came right away.

-The police is here.

-Alex, what's going on? Who did that?
-I don't know honey. I will go to the police officers. I will search with my team. For now you and Arielle have to stay to a hotel. I will find you later.

-We haven't done check in.

-I have a friend of mine.You will tell him my name.Matt,can you drive them there?

-Of course mate,don't worry.

-Now that Hope and Arielle are gone. What the fuck happened?

-It was an explosive device. Do you have a clue who did that?

-I have something in mind but I'm not sure.

-Hope has an uncle who is trying to find her after a long time. I don't know if he is the one who is responsible for this mess but he is the only suspect.

-Okay, we will try to find the fingerprints and we will tell you. For now go to the LAPD offices and find the chief. He will probably know more things.

-Thank you officer.

~Alex arrived at the offices.~

He knocks the door.

-Come in

-Hello chief.

-Hello Alex. I heard what happened. I'm sorry.But I'm happy that you are all okay.

-Thank you sir.Do you know who's actually behind this?

-My team just informed me that they have the fingerprints. They told me that you have a suspect in your mind too.Does it have to do with those men that we arrested two months ago?

-I don't really know.As you said we arrested them but we don't know if there are many of them out there and they want revenge.

-We will find Hope's uncle so we can see if it's his fingerprints.

-Okay but he may be behind of this and put another person to do it .

-You will talk to him. You will try to find informations. He will talk.

-And when he will come?

-Tonight. For now go to your family and stay safe. I will call you.

-Okay sir. Thank you.

During the drive Alex was thinking so many things. He was worried about you and Arielle. He can't think of someone else. He is almost sure that someone of them is out there and wants revenge. Final he arrived at the hotel that you were going to stay this whole time.

-Baby it's Alex.

You opened the door and you hugged him so tight.

-Oh my God Alex. What's happening?

-Don't worry baby.I will find who did this. I want you to be safe. Is Arielle awake?

-No,she was very scared. She fell asleep.

-Darling close the door and let's sit. I want to talk to you.

-What's going on Alex?

You both sat on the room's couch. Alex held your hand. Whenever he does that you feel so safe. Like no one is going to hurt you. He is your hero.

-Baby. I want to tell you the truth. They may be some of those men.

-What do you mean? My dad's men?

-Yes.

-No! But you arrest them.

-It's not sure yet but they are suspects. And there is someone else.

-Who?

-Your uncle.

-What? No! But he doesn't have to do with these. Arielle told me that he is good.

-You never know so well a person darling if you don't live with them everyday. If you don't talk to them every moment. You don't know their acts, their thoughts. It may be a game his whole personality. But nothing is sure yet. It's just a theory that match.

The door knocked.

-I will open darling.

~Alex opened the door..~

-Are you looking for me?
