Maya left the rubber room and surprisingly she went to go find Miles.
She saw him at his locker preparing to go home so she ran up to him.
"Miles!" shouted Maya.
Miles looked to his left.
"Oh Hey, what brings you here?"
"I just wanted to tell you that I'm ready." said Maya
"What?" asked Miles confusingly.
"....To tell you how I feel." finished off Maya.
"Oh, oh...ye...yeah..of course." said Miles.
He followed it up with a nervous laugh.
"But not here." said Maya.
"Yeah totally understandable." replied Miles.
He smiled.
"So, where shall we find out this truth of yours? asked Miles.
"I was hoping I could come over...?" asked Maya.
"As long as that's okay with your parents." said Maya.
"Definitely. Whatever makes you happy." said Miles.
"Thanks."
"You know, you're quite the gentlemen." said Maya.
Miles smiled widely.
Maya suffered trying to not lean in to kiss him after that smile she once fell in love with. She hoped that soon she would be his again....
