Chapter 11

Demi's POV:

What just happened? She said she loved me. She loved me? Why? I'm nothing special. I knew we really liked each other but..love? I admit she's special. She gives me something I've never had before. Her beautiful blue eyes, her cute little nose, her perfect smile, her adorable laugh. I generally never wanted to- I stopped myself before I finished that thought. Oh shit. I'm in love with her. And I just let her walk out. I didn't stop her even when I knew she wanted me to. I sat here speechless like an idiot. I grab my phone and start calling her. After the 17th try I still hadn't gotten ahold of her so I went to her house. I kept knocking on the door impatiently till Ben, who looked furious, opened it. "Demi? What are you doing here?" He asked. "I'm her to talk to Aubrey." I said. "She's not here. I thought she was with you. What the hell?!? What's going on?" "She said something and I didn't react right and she left and I don't know where she went and I've been calling her and I just want to talk to h-" he interrupted me "What did you do to her Demi? Did you hurt her? Cause I swear to god if you so much as made her cry one tear I will make your life hell. You don't know any of the shit she has been through. She made her self be so strong and she finally got her head on straight and started living life. But then you showed up and I thought things were going to be even better. But if you hurt her I can promise you that you'll never be apart of her life again." He yelled at me. I was speechless yet another time today. She's never told me anything about her past really. I just know the basics. "I'm so sorry Ben. She just caught me off guard and I hadn't even let myself consider that at all. But I do too. I love her too and I need to tell her. I need her to know I love her too. She thinks I don't and she probably thinks I hate her which means she probably hates me but I need to tell her! PLEASE HELP ME!" I pleaded with him. He just stood there for awhile and then a girl came up beside him. I felt extremely embarrassed now. I interrupted them and I felt horrible. "I'm sorry for interrupting." I mumbled looking at the ground suddenly finding a rock to be so fascinating. "Karlee I think you should go home. I'll make this up to you but this is a personal matter and it comes before my love life. I'm so sorry" Ben told her. "It's alright babe. I heard everything and I agree that you should help her. Because when you love someone it's a great thing that they know. I'll talk to you later." She smiled at me and kissed him then she left. I just stared at Ben and finally he looked me dead in the eye. "I love her Demi. I always have. She's been my best friend. She's the only person I can call my family. And you make her happy. I haven't seen her happy for almost 3 years. And she deserves to know. I need you to keep her happy. Remember she may act strong but inside she is so fragile. She takes everything to heart. Every word you say. Every action you show. She will take all of that in. Just please, if you love her like you say you do, love her right. Please. She's all I have in this world and I can't stand to see her hurt because it hurts me twice as bad. Please take care of her." He was crying at this point which left me wide-eyed. Ben is a big guy and you would never expect to see him break down like this. It made me kinda jealous of His and Aubrey's relationship. Just because they meant so much to each other and I don't think even my family feels this much towards each other. I pulled him into a hug and promised him I would try my hardest to give her everything. She's perfect and deserves the world and that's what I'm going to try to do. Give her the world. "I know where she is Demi." He finally said. "WHERE?!" I yelled but not really meaning to. I looked at him apologetically and he just smiled and shook his head at me. "There's this place she used to go to. She went there to escape from the world and all its problems. Just remember everything I told you okay?" He said. "I'll never forget." I mumbled back as I got in my car. I finally arrived there after about an hour because I got lost because I suck with directions. I parked next to her car. Glad she was still here. I got out and started walking. When I saw her laying there on the blanket I froze. I've never been so nervous but I know everything I'm feeling is true and she needs to know because I know she feels the same. I walked closer and I stepped on a stick and it broke which cause her to sit up. She looked right at me in my eyes. "Demi?" I felt my heart skip a beat...
