Of Blue and Velvet

<3rd person P.O.V>

The last thing Tohka remembered was being pulled into that weird door that the spirit with Kurumi had summoned, and now as she woke up her vision was bleary. She thought when had her room become so blue as she quickly sat up as she remembered she was on the roof and saw Kurumi with Shido.

Looking around she noticed she was in a blue cell and had shackles on her wrists and a ball and chain on one of her legs. Her head then snapped to the cell door where she saw a young man sitting at a single desk in the middle of a circular room mumbling to himself. The small bits she was able to comprehend confused her as it seemed the man was saying something about how it was weird not being in a cell, or how he wonders if his eyes are bulging now, or if he needs to preform his own executions, and something about if he should use his greeting.

In the corner of her eye she noticed in the cell that is on the other side of the young man was a familiar head of white hair that began to wake up unlike Tohka she didn't have a ball and chain but it seemed that she had a single chain connected to the wall behind her and shackling her wrists together.

Before she could say anything it seems the young man who Tohka just realized was actually Akira, spoke up.
"Greetings, it appears you three have finally woken up." Tohka looked at Origami's cell and noticed that Origami was looking to the side at a cell in between their cells. When Tohka looked she noticed it was Shido's sister and wondered 'what was her name again Manny,? Manne? Anne?' Then she remembered 'oh right Mana.'

Just as she remembered her name Mana spoke up "where are we spirit! You better let me out of here so could I kill you easily... or I'll just have to break out of here!" Suddenly the weird techno armor thing she wore started to glow when suddenly the chains that Tohka had just noticed began to glow and then, ...nothing.
Mana had a bewildered look on her face as Akira spoke up again "Ah yes I have yet to tell you where we are, oh and introduce myself, ahem... Welcome to my Velvet Room! It is a place that exists between dream and reality, mind and matter, I am Joker the... current master and past resident, or... should I say prisoner of this place... Anyway you all must be wondering why you are here, the answer... I cannot have you interfere with Nightmare at the moment and-"

Akira was interrupted as Tohka slammed her fist against the cell door and yelled "why are you doing this Akira!? I thought you said you wouldn't hurt Shido so why?!"

Akira simply sighed and said "so I see you actually saw through my disguise unlike Ratatoskr, DEM, and the AST. Well Tohka to answer your question, I did promise I wouldn't hurt Shido and I am keeping that promise... that is why I am here after all. Technically speaking I have not hurt or will hurt Shido... but that does not mean my sister is not able to." Tohka could only stare at Akira in disbelief while she wondered what was going through his head.

Meanwhile in Akira's mind 'Oh it appears I have finally gotten used to referring to her as my sister... oh joy. Well I dont really mind Kuro much but Kurumi is a little-'

Akira was snapped out of his thoughts as to his left where Origami is, he heard a bang and a grunt. As he turns to look at her he could see the hatred burning in her eyes as she glares at him gritted her teeth and leaning against the cell door obviously having tried to ram it open but failed.

Akira stared at her before he opened his mouth to speak only to close it as she beat him to it slowly saying in a silent rage "Let me out right now."

Akira simply smirked and responded with "and why should I, Tobichi?"
That response made Origami snap as she banged her shackled hands on the door and angrily shouted "BECAUSE THAT FLAME SPIRIT MUST DIE!!!"

Akira simply looked in Tohka's direction put his finger to his lips in a silencing manner and did the same to Mana before turning back to Origami and saying "Oh right my sister did mention something about a spirit killing your parents or something after all she was present at the moment, well one of her shadows was present... as well as my brother. Oh but before you think I will let you out think again after all your anger has blinded you to the truth and spun a false reality based on lies... answer me this Tobichi when you saw your parents die what killed them was it fire? A flaming halberd? A scared little girl? Or a spirit blinded by rage?"
As Akira spoke Tohka grew confused and then remembered that the flame spirit they were discussing was from what she saw before she was dragged into this world was actually Kotori Shido's little sister.
