Monday morning came too fast as Mabea groaned, shutting off the phone alarm she had set. Now that her brother was here, she had to wake up an hour earlier so that they could both get ready for the day ahead and be ready on time.

By 7 am, they were done, Oratile in his uniform, his cropped hair neatly combed, uniform ironed and school bag ready. For someone short, he made up for it by looking young which made people think he was around 14 instead of 17. He called himself "Timeless".

"Looking sharp," Mabea snickered as she counted out some money for his lunchbox. She had budgeted At least 15 bucks per day for his meals and it was cheaper and quicker than preparing him a proper lunchbox. She looked at his fair skin and shook her head. He sure was gonna be a heartbreaker at his new school.

"So we're riding to your school just for today so that I can make sure that you get settled in nicely.  And then I'm going to work, OK? I'll be at work all day since today I don't have any classes."

It took them less than 15 minutes to get him settled and already, Mabea couldn't help but laugh as she saw girls fawning over him. He sure cleaned up well for a poor boy from one of the most remote and rural areas in the country. A class monitress was already leading him away as one of the teachers talked to Mabea.

"Soo...I guess that's it," the teacher was saying to her as he kept checking her out when he thought she wasn't looking.

At 25 and with her striking curves,  she couldn't blame him. She wasn't overly curvy-just perfectly sized and almost skinny for a woman of her ancestry considering that she came from a family of full bodied extremely curvaceous women. She was not tall or short and had fair brown skin just like her brother but it was the curves that drove the men crazy.

"Thank you so much, sir, for your help," she grinned at him. "God knows I'd be late for work if you hadn't volunteered to help me. Bless you."

The man blushed. "It was no big deal...um...I hope to see you here soon?"

"I hope not," she laughed. "Because that would mean my brother is in trouble."

He shook his head, smiling. "Well...take care hey? I have a class waiting for me. Have a great day, Ms. Mabea." He left.

At the complex, the guard refused to let Mabea in because she had forgotten her access card at home which was a mistake because that meant that she'd be stuck in the building until the end of the day.

"Come on, Bra Uze," she pleaded. "You know me! I have worked here for the past three years! Uze, my guy?! Who brings you a cheese russian Kota once in a while?"

The stubborn man shook his head, a smile evident on his face. He knew her but the Director had threatened his job if he let in anyone without their card especially after last month's robbery. As much as he liked Mabea, he couldn't let her in.

"I have a meeting in five minutes!" she begged. "Please, Bra Uze."

"I have 5 mouths to feed at home,  madam Mabea. "I can't afford to lose my job."

Mabea sighed in frustration. She paced back and forth before trying to plead with him again but to no avail until the director herself stopped by. She saw Mabea and having seen her once or twice she nodded once in greeting before swiping her access card.

"Madam director!" Mabea called. "I forgot my card at home and I'm gonna clock in late if I don't get in right now so please, please may I come in? I understand that Bra Uze is doing his job but I have a meeting in less than twenty minutes with the Japanese consulate in re-"

The director swiped her in and she came behind her, thanking her profusely. They parted ways when they got to the lobby as Mabea sprinted towards the elevator in her heels which clicked loudly on the marble flooring.
