seungkwan was already on the roof since vernon asked him to be there at 6 pm.

the boy looked at the city lights, as well as observing everyone. he saw a man kneeling down on one knee who confessing to a girl, students from another school eating outside, little kids playing, and more.

he lives in seoul, the capital of south korea and the most numbers of people living in.

5 minutes later, no vernon. seungkwan just thought it was a prank from the younger, considering he always fell for it because vernon is his crush. like, who wouldn't believe their crush no matter what the consequences will be?

seungkwan sighed loudly, he's never gonna come he thought, and was about to turn around and leave the rooftop, when suddenly a two pair of arms hugged him.

"seungkwan, i'm sorry for being late" vernon cried.

"oh it's okay.." the taller faked another smile.

it was awkward, until seungkwan suggested "let's sit down first" as vernon just nodded.

"so speak, what do you want to talk about?" seungkwan said, uninterested.

"first, i'm worried about you"

"worried about?"

"you're starving yourself, aren't you?" vernon looked at him intensly

"n- no" seungkwan lied as he shooked his head

"tell me, what's wrong?"

"no- nothing"

vernon crossed his arms "fine, no one's leaving this rooftop until you say something's wrong"

seungkwan sassily flipped his imaginary hair "fine!" and looked at the other direction.

10 minutes later the two were bored "i'm going home now" seungkwan stood up, but vernon pulled him back

"like i said, i won't let anyone leave the rooftop unless you tell me what's wrong"

it was kind of hot. vernon, seungkwan's crush for 5 years, worrying about him? i must be dreaming there's no way he likes me he thought.

seungkwan sighed in frustration, giving up. "fine, i'm starving myself" he looked down, embarrassed.

as the boy waited for the younger's response, he didn't heared anything. instead, he heard some soft cries and it was from vernon, he was quietly sobbing.

"why are you crying?" seungkwan looked at vernon, with his hands on his cheeks

"i- it's just that you starve youself because peaople say mean stuff to you, you know how deadly this can be?" he said between sniffs

"no.."

"my exact thoughts and also seungkwan" vernon finally finished crying, and turned to seungkwan. the boy hummed in response, as he grabbed his water bottle that was sitting on the floor.

"do you like me?"

seungkwan choked on his water he was just about to take a sip, what should i respond like i don't want our friendship to end he mentally said, panicking.

"u- uh" seungkwan looked around, avoiding vernon's eyes

"seungkwan?" vernon looked at him worringly

"yes! yes i do i know you don't like me back but please don't end our friendship because your best friend likes you and please return to normal when we go back to school tomorrow" seungkwan said in one breath, making vernon drop his jaw

vernon blushed "i was gonna say i like you too-" but was interupted by seungkwan apologizing

"i know i've been ignoring you i know i starve myself to death but only because i want other people to stop judging me and-" seungkwan was interupted by a pair of soft lips on him. everything was going on too fast with seungkwan ranting and apologizing, and vernon looking at him.

vernon was already pissed because seungkwan didn't hear his answer, and kissed him.

the two were shoked by the fast reaction, but closed their eyes as they started making out

vernon's tongue explored seungkwan's mouth, like a place that he have never seened before

after 30 seconds, they pulled apart. with a little string of saliva from their mouths that won't let go, and awkwardly turned to avkid eye contact

"s- so i should be going now" seungkwan stood up, attempting to flee but vernon pukled him into a hug again

"will you be my b- boyfriend?" damn it vernon why did you stutter he said as the boy mentally face-palmed himself.

"i- i'm sorry i was just thinking if-" vernon was about to make an excuse when seungkwan shyly pecked him on the lips

"yes i will be your boyfriend" he responded, and ran out of his sight giggling.

vernon frozed. he couldn't believe it and yelled at the rooftop to release his excitement

"he just said yes!"

two years later and they are happy by their own partners. they did everything together with eating, sleeping, and most importantly looking out for each other.

they will admit, the couple started working out after vernon promised seungkwan that he will help him get "skinnier" even though it wasn't really needed, but seungkwan told him that he will break up with him if he didn't help him, leaving vernon with no choice.

the two couldn't imagine leaving each other, so they will see what the future holds for them.
