The Star Idiots announced they were leaving again. It's time to escape. I hope this works, because half of my plan relies on pure luck.
I grabbed the jacket, and found a pocket knife in Ink's art room. I walked downstairs to see they were talking before stepping through the portal. I waited a couple minutes, and luck was on my side. They forgot to close the portal. I crawled on the ground because the portal didn't completely reach the floor. I walked through the portal behind the Star Idiots.
I walked slightly to the side. Nightmare must've noticed me, because he nodded his head. I think he was catching onto my plan. I walked to the other side of the Star Idiots because Dream asked "Brother, what are you nodding at?" Wait, brother? Oh! That's why they're total opposites! I pushed that aside and started running towards the Bad Guys. Dream looked to his side, then looked up to find me almost to Nightmare and the others.
Blue noticed, and started running after me. Man, was he fast. But Nightmare quickly reacted, and used a tentacle to carry me the rest of the way to him. Nightmare put me down, but I stayed by his side. "Hey, long time no see." I said smiling. Error, Dust and Killer walked on one side of me, while Cross and Horror stood beside Nightmare. We formed a line.
"Killer? Can I?" I asked motioning to him. He tilted his head in confusion. I pointed to his knife, and he pulled another one out of his pocket and handed it to me. "Thanks," I said. "No problem. Welcome back, (Y/n)." Killer said happily. Nightmare took the sign: I wanted to fight. And he didn't stop me. He walked forward, and pointed towards the Star Sanses. We charged into battle.
I headed for Dream. HE was the one that took me. HE was the one that put me into that miserable, pitifully colorful place. Anger surged through my body, and I ran up to him. I took the knife and sliced his shoulders, but then jumped back. I wanted to be able to dodge as well as everybody else could. Dream took out his bow and positivity arrows, and shot one at me. I just stood there, glaring at him. I used the knife to block the arrow.
I thought of bad things. I lost my family. My SISTER. But once I actually find a new happiness, SOMEBODY has to take it away from me. I ran towards Dream the fastest I could, and stabbed him. He didn't die, but he was deeply wounded. I never wanted anybody to die, just get hurt badly.
Dream fell to the ground and cried out in pain. Good. One down, two more to go. I saw Dust and and Cross fighting Blue, so I decided to help them out. I pulled a sneak attack, and stabbed blue from behind. All three of us ran towards Ink and the others, while Blue was left in pain on his knees.
Ink was the hardest to fight. He had a life-sized paintbrush, and his normal attacks. How this was gonna be possible, I don't know.
"Guys, stay back. He's harder to kill than he looks." Said Error as he shot strings at Ink.
I didn't listen, and jumped right next to Error and Nightmare. Why did I do this? I can't! I don't know how to actually fight! I internally panicked, but took a breath. Another amazing idea came to mind.
"Nightmare, Error, let me handle this." I said. I walked towards Ink. "Ink! Let me help you! I don't know what I was thinking... I can fight with you." I shouted. He paused. "If you wish to, then come on over here." I walked behind him. "You go first." I said with a smug smile on my face. I could see some of the skeletons tearing up. I know they didn't want me to leave. But I really wasn't.
Ink took the offer, and charged towards Error. But before he could get out of my reach, I grabbed his paintbrush. "What are you doing-" He was cut off by the large snapping sound of me breaking his paintbrush in half. "Ugh, forget it!" He turned around, and prepared blasters to kill the Bad Guys.
I waited until the perfect moment. 'Now!' I shouted in my mind. I ran up behind Ink, and took the final blow. He fell to the ground in pain. He got up, and ran over to Blue and Dream. They walked through the portal to the base, which was still open.
I ran over to Nightmare. "So, how'd I do for my first fight?" I asked with the smug smile still on my face. Everybody crowded around me, and pestered me with questions. "Are you okay?" "Did they do anything bad to you?" "Why did you jump into the fight?"
"Yes, I'm okay. No, they did nothing bad to me, except for the fact that they didn't let me leave or wear dark colored clothes. And I fought because I love you guys." I smiled. "Now, my question for you. Did you guys really think I would leave?" I asked.
