A Drunken Mistake

Chapter One: A perfect Life

Soft footsteps can be heard down the hallways as the little object makes his way towards his parent's bedroom. He let out a tiny giggle once he found the bedroom and open the door slightly open, revealing his two parents sleeping peacefully and quietly.

Well, not for long they won't be as the little object sneak his way inside the room and crawl over in silent, being careful not to wake them up yet. He peeked over to see them still asleep and can't help but let out a tiny giggle till he jumped on top of the bed, yelling out.

"WAKE UP MOM AND DAD!"

Firey jumped upwards, surprised out of nowhere while Leafy jumped and nearly fell over the bed when heard the child's screaming and looked over to see her six year old son, Birch, who have now jumped on top of his parent's bed, giggling. "Birch, sweetie, you almost scare the life out of me!" Leafy sigh softly but smile as well as Birch let out a small giggle once more.

"I just wanted to wake you up." He smiled sweetly and almost innocently. Leafy chuckle softly as she brought her son close and gave him a soft peck on the forehead. "Well, you did a great job on that sweetheart." She glance over at the clock and realized it was 8:00 am.

Guess it was time to get up. She turn to Firey, who was trying to go back to sleep after the outburst his son has done. "Firey, we have to get up, it's 8:00 am." She said, shaking him softly on the shoulder, he let out a tire grunt.

"Five more minutes....." He grumble, pulling the blanket over to him. "Then you'll say five more minutes, come on Firey, wake up!" Leafy huffed and try to wake him up once more but he show no sign of waking up. She let out a long sigh and glance over at Birch. "Birch, think you can help mommy wake daddy up?"

Birch nodded happily and didn't hesitate to jump on top of his father, once more yelling out. "Wake up Daddy!" He shout out, waking up Firey once more and he let out a loud groan when Birch kept repeating: "Wake Up."

"Okay, okay, I'm awake, I'm awake." He sigh softly and sat up, causing Birch to slide off of his father and he giggle softly. Firey turn to his son, who still have a smile on his face and glancing up at his father. The fire let out a sigh and smile softly as he picked Birch up.

"You are lucky that you are gosh darn adorable." He said before also placing a soft kiss on his forehead, which cause Birch to let out a small giggle.

Firey set Birch down as the tiny leaf ran out of the room of his parent's, leaving them alone for a while. "I'll never know where he gets that much energy from." Chuckle Leafy as she turn to crawl out of bed. "Yea but I do know where he gets those adorable eyes from."

"Oh yea? From who?" Leafy ask, turning around to glance at him but when she did turn around, Firey had already place a gentle kiss on her forehead, causing her to blush. "From you." He chuckle at her expression.

"Aww, you are already blushing red."

"Sh-Shut up. No I'm not." She blush, turning her face away in embarrassment before she crawled out of bed. "N-Now come on. Birch is probably waiting for us at the kitchen." "Awww, but I wanna tease you more. You look cute when you are embarrass." Firey smirk as he follow after her.

"W-Well, do that later... We have plans for today, remember? Leafy ask, turning to her husband as they walked down the stairs. "Birch's birthday is coming up next week and we are still planning."

"Oh yeah, almost forgot about that." Firey said, walking behind her. "Maybe I can make a cool ferries Wheel for him and his friends, just like the ones in BFB 24."

"Good idea and I can make Birch's chocolate birthday cake." Leafy suggested as she made her way to the kitchen to make breakfast. She bend down and pull out a bowl and place it on to the counter.

Leafy, the second finalist of BFDI and former veteran has settle down and started her own life with Firey after BFB was over. Most of the former contestants had settle down to start their own family after BFB was over like her and Firey but some still in a relationship and others being single.

TPOT has just finished not to long ago and luckily they can come over and visit their old pals from BFB, like her dearest old friend, Pin. She had heard that her and Coiny also had a child name Lapel Pin though was older than Birch, him being 7 years old while Birch is 6 years old.

But those two get along very well. As Leafy was cooking pancakes, she can hear Birch and Firey chatting behind her at the table. "I'm going to invite all of my friends!" Birch exclaim excitedly.

"I'm gonna invite Lapel Pin, Blue Pencil, Hail, Sapphire and Sprinkle Donut. Oh, is Uncle Gelatin and Lollipop gonna show up too?" Birch ask excitedly, pretty much bouncing on his chair.

Firey chuckle softly as he ruffle Birch on top of his head. "Of course they will, they won't miss it for a second, now calm down, you're gonna fall backwards any second now."

"Oops, sorry." Birch giggle. "I just can't help but be excited, just four more days till my birthday!"

Leafy can't help but smile as she place the third pancake on top of the second. Never had she thought she would compete for four seasons of winning a prize and then settle down with Firey and had a son together.

And if there were to be a fifth season, she wouldn't care if she win or not, no prize is worth anything than her small family.
