POV: Logan

The trees flew past me as I ran through the woods. I had no idea where I was going and knew I should have thought before running. But I was too stressed to think. I didn't even see the broken tree in front of me. "FUCK!"I pulled the fallen branch out of my abdomen and fell against the tree as the wound healed. What the fuck was I doing. I had no plan, no direction, and no hope of finding Morgan. I grabbed my side as I recovered from the stitch. I had given up. I was never going to find her. She was lost. I went to get up and head back to the mansion when I felt something. I wasn't sure what it was. it felt... electric. Like someone was trying to tell me something. I didn't know who, but all of a sudden, I knew exactly where I was going.

POV: Morgan

I felt my mind explode as the news hit me. Grandfather? It wasn't until just now that I recognized him from TV. He was Magneto. As in, the enemy of the X-Men. "You're lying, I have no family." He laughed, calling my bluff. "Oh but you do, don't you. Because of my daughters bad taste in men, you have a father, your father is still alive isn't he. You get this remarkable gift from him. I know all about you child. How your mother gave you to experiments for money, which is why I am able to control your skeleton. You only met your father recently and yesterday, your grandfather, me, kidnapped to bring you to your family" I scoffed. Family? This guy had some fucking nerve. "Family? I was with my family before you abducted me" Magneto frowned and I felt the metal around me tighten and I flinched in pain. "That man doesn't want you. I'm offering you a family who does." I lean my face in closer. "I wouldn't consider you family if you fucking paid me." I relaxed more as he left me alone. The bonds released when he slammed and locked the door, the only door out of here. I grazed hands as I landed and watched the skin patch up. Well fuck. What was I supposed to do now. I walked over to the door, just in case, but it was locked. I looked at my surroundings. There wasn't much. I was in a room the shape of a dome. Nothing but scrap metal furnished the room. I had nothing that would help me escape. I tried to clear my mind, I would try to get the Professor to reach me, even if Magneto wasn't bluffing.

POV: Logan

The building looked like an observatory of some type. A dome covered the top and I knew that's where they were holding Morgan. I wondered if Charles was looking at me now, so I gave him a view of my surroundings so he could find me. I didn't want his help, but if my past experiences with that prick, magneto, were anything to go by, I may just need it. I checked if the coast was clear. No one was around. So I got up and ran towards the building. I found a ladder going to the top and climbed until I was sure I was beside the top floor. Jumping into a terrace type thing, I knocked on the metal and a small while later, three knocks responded indicating that Morgan was there. I stuck my claws inside and pulled them around in a circle until I had made a hole to climb through. Jumping inside, I saw Morgan on her knees, clutching her shoulder. "You alright kid?" She releases her shoulder and I see three blade marks where I must have stabbed her. They quickly close over. "Uh, sorry about that." She smiled and got up. "It's fine, you came." I wasn't ready for it, but she gave me a brief hug before looking at the hole. "Huh, never thought of doing that." I smiled and looked at my claws. "Yeah, adamantium, one of the strongest metals on earth." I gave her a leg up and she no-so-nimbly climbed out through the hole. Hearing her curse, I poked my head through to make sure she was alright. "I'm fine, just cut my fucking leg." Her leg had a wide gash that took a while to heal over. I grabbed onto the metal, feeling it pierce my skin, and jumped over the side. "Oh shit." Morgan looked at me, her claws slowly surfacing from her hands. She took a forced step towards me and plunged them in my heart. "FUCK, I'm so sorry!" Groaning, I grabbed her hand and pulled it out but she dove in deeper. "AHH, FUCK!" She looked so scared as I yelled, that I knew I had to get us both out of here. At the sound of the X-Men jet, I waved them down before Magneto controlled me too. I saw my own claws come out and watched in horror as I stabbed Morgan in her gut. Her eyes widened and I felt my heart shatter at her pain. Scott came down on a rope and just gaped at the situation. "Don't just stand there you asshole, we can't move!" Scott touched his ear and called for Charles to help us. In a few seconds, we could move and we both retracted our claws. I remained standing, used to the pain, but Morgan collapsed, gasping for air. I looked at Scott for help, and he picked her up in his arms bridle style, and called for the team to retract the rope. In just a few seconds, it came back down for me, and I was pulled into the air. Once inside, I said a brief 'thanks' to our help, and headed straight for Morgan who was still on the ground, looking super pale. "You OK?" I didn't know what to do. she looked so helpless, so in pain. I was not the sort of person to worry about someone. If it were anyone else, I probably would've told them to walk it off. Which made me more confused about my emotions as I knew she could heal, I knew she would be fine. It was just the sight of her in pain, caused by me, that my heart wrenched. I wasn't used to these fatherly emotions and I wondered if I was sick. Morgan's wounds finally healed, and she sat back looking like she'd run a marathon. I felt a pat on my back and I whipped around to see Scott, actually acting like a human being for once. He smiled at me and passed some pain relief to Morgan which she accepted gratefully. "Thanks Scott. For a... For your help and all." I saw the Professor give me a sideways look at this grateful behavior but I just rolled my eyes and kept my attention on Morgan who looked like she needed to sleep more than anything, which she did in a few minutes. After we landed, I picked her up, and carried her to my room (I couldn't for the life of me remember which room was hers.) And I put to to bed before heading downstairs for a drink.
