POV: Morgan
I looked at the teacher, not concentrating on a word he said. I still hadn't wrapped my head around the fact that I had finally met my father, the Wolverine. "Morgan?" I woke up from my daydream and focused on Mr. Summers. Fuck, I didn't hear him. "I'm sorry?" The teacher gave me an impatient look. "I asked you what the largest contiguous empire in history was?" I looked down at my history book, scanning the pages for the answer. Shit, I couldn't find it. "Uh, sorry, I don't know." He pursed his lips and frowned. "That's fine, see me after class please." Fuck. The bell rang and students put books and stationary in bags and began to leave the classroom. "Alright, people that is your homework for tonight and I'll see you next lesson." In 30 seconds flat, I was alone with Mr. Summers. He walked round to be and sat backwards on the chair in front to face me. "Now I've had a chat with the Professor and I am aware that you will be struggling to pay attention in class. So I'm going to give you a free pass THIS time, but please make sure it doesn't happen again OK?" I smiled. Thank fuck I wasn't in trouble. He was right though, I was struggling, in ALL of my classes. I just couldn't concentrate. Not with the latest shit still on my mind. Mr. Summers let me go and I walked through the halls to catch up with my friends.

Rogue and her boyfriend, Bobby were my best/only friends and I hung out with them every day. They sometimes had their bastard friend Johnny with them which I hated. I'm not going to lie, he was cute. And if he hadn't made that dick move when we first met, I probably would have gone for that. He tried to kiss me on my third day, causing me to reveal my secret to my, back then, oblivious father. Speaking of which, I saw my father down the hall from me and hesitated. I usually avoided him as our situation was still awkward and I felt like sometimes he tried a little too hard to be fatherly. "Hey Kiddo," He spoke naturally like he'd known me for years. But I just smiled at him as we passed each other. I quickened my pace until and spotted Rogue and Bobby underneath a tree. Oh. They had Johnny with them. I still hadn't told them about what happened between Johnny and I. If there was any chance of us becoming some sort of friends, I needed to keep my trap shut and keep the others in the dark so they didn't find out what he did. As long as the prick stayed in his lane, we would be fine. Rogue saw me first and stood up to give me a hug. Bobby waved and moved over for me and Johnny stared at his hands. I smiled, ignoring Johnny and sat down with them. "So, Mutant high, how it going so far." I stared at Bobby not even knowing where to begin. "You have no idea how hectic it's been." He just smiled mischievously. "Try me." So I told him about accidentally showing my claws to my father for the first time (Leaving out the Johnny details to which he looked at me surprised), I told him about yelling at my dad the first time we got properly introduced, running away which caused me to get jumped by a lot of 20 year old guys who apparently hate mutants. They all seemed interested when I told them about how my dad came in to save me but I didn't say that we killed all three of them. And finally, I told them how every time I see my father, I get nervous and turn the other way. I left them speechless. "OK, I agree that is and insane week." Yup, just my first week at school. "But I don't get it," Rogue started, "Why feel awkward around Logan if you guys sorted out all the icky relationship bits?" "I don't know, I just feel like he's trying so hard it's become fake." I knew I was making excuses. I finally had someone who wanted to love and care for me, and I was too much of a pussy to let him.

POV: Logan
I noticed Morgan tense as I passed her in the hallways of school. No matter how hard I tried with that kid, she still refused to get close to me. To be honest, I didn't know if I was glad or not. I mean, don't get me wrong, I would be stoked if she tired to get to know me, but I was also glad to have space to get used to being a father. Fuck I was useless at this. I had no parents growing up and I had been by my self for so long, I didn't even know how to treat a child before coming to the school. I was glad I had come here when I did. If I hadn't, Morgan would probably be alone in the world, dying in a ditch somewhere because I couldn't be bothered caring for her. Shit, I was becoming a wuss. I no longer swore so much in front of the kids and I actually taught a class sometimes. That was in return for living here with the professor. But no matter what I did, I just couldn't get this father thing in my head. I still feel like i'm gonna wake up from a dream. One thing i'm refusing to ask myself, is would I be glad if it was a dream?

POV: ???
I stood in front if the big computer screen. I'd been staring at the loading screen that was searching for her, for ages. My right hand woman came in the door. "Any news of our target?" she shook her head and produced a tray of food and water. "I'm not hungry." I said, rejecting the tray. The screen changed from the loading sign to a location labelled, 'Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters' "I have a task for you." She settled into a chair to hear my request.

POV: Morgan
I SO did not feel like getting up this morning. I grumbled to turn my alarm off and found Rogue up and dressed already. She was packing her school bag. "How, are you up already." I groaned at the sight of the light. Throwing the covers over my head, I settled back in for sleep. "Come on sleepy head, You'll be late for school." "Ugh, Tell them I couldn't make it to class. Death by tiredness." Rogue giggled and chucked a cup of freezing cold water on me. "OH MY GOD, ROGUE! You little SHIT! I jumped out of bed and grabbed my towel. Rogue hurried out of the room knowing I wouldn't follow her in my over sized tee-shirt and board shorts. I jumped in the shower and got ready today's events. I just finished backing my bag and was about to leave for class when I heard a knock at the door I was beyond surprised when Johnny was on the other side. "Uh, Hi?" Johnny rubbed his neck as if he was regretting coming. God he was cute when he was nervous. Ugh, what am I thinking?! "Er, Hi. Um, I just wanted to thank you. For not splitting on me to the others." Well you would of thought. Shitty, asshole, cock head Johnny was thanking me. "Well, anyway, I was hoping if we could start again. I should never have come at you like that, I'm sorry." I nodded at him. "Yeah, sure, OK." "Cool!" Ugh, what the hell, what did I have to loose? I moved closer to him and kissed his cheek. His blush could not have been redder. Johnny smiled awkwardly and walked away Well today was going weirdly okay. I wonder how long it'll last.
