Hiii!

I'm starting to write the plot for my upcoming story(^) and if you think about checking it out, I think y'all will love it. The first chapter should be out in about a week and a half as I'm going to finish Star Student and focus on this for a few days.

Ok I'm really pissed off at my mother right now. I, as a teenage girl, don't want any adult that I don't know sleeping in my room when I'm not there, especially adult men that are friends with my demon stepfather. And the fact that not one, BUT TWO WERE ALLOWED TO SLEEP IN MY BED AND BASICALLY TRASH MY ROOM WHICH I HAVE TO CLEAN NOW!! I'm. Pissed. But I hope your guys' day is going swell.

3rd POV

He separated his lips from hers, but had the intention of slamming his lips right back on them. He kissed her to show Ace his place in Y/n's heart—which would be nobody—, but then totally forgot he was there.

About to go for it again, he's stopped by an obvious fake cough. Y/n and Zachary are brought out of their little haze and Y/n immediately backs away.

"Oh, uh, w-why would you do that?"

Y/n didn't know what to say. She kissed him back, but she didn't even know why.

There was like this pull that didn't let her push him away, this pull that tugged her towards him. She couldn't help but kiss back. It felt good.

"You kissed me back so why does it matter?"

She blushed furiously at that statement.

He's right. I kissed him back. I'm not even upset at him for coming onto me like that.

"Excuse me."

The girl stared at Ace, feeling even more embarrassed for kissing someone in front of another person.

"Ace, why don't y-"

"So you're just going to let a man take advantage of you like that?"

Y/n was shocked at his outburst. He looked pissed and looked at Zachary like he wanted to kill him in which Zachary gave him the same look back.

The girl didn't know what to say. Yes, the man did technically took advantage of her unawareness, but she kissed him back in the end. She still didn't understand why, but no matter what, she couldn't deny that she enjoyed the kiss.

No one spoke as there was an awkward tension in the room.

The beast was tempted to just slam his lips back on Y/n's while Ace can go and mind his own business, but he already knew Y/n wouldn't like that.

Yet it was still an option.

"H-he didn't take advantage of me."

She played with the hem of her dress, not wanting to look at anyone.

"So you're saying you enjoyed that kiss?!"

"Uh, well, yeah I guess."

A wave of pride and happiness flew over Zachary. He made his mate feel good. His mate liked the kiss. She liked it!

He couldn't help but release a full smile, one that shocked Ace and Y/n as she finally looked up.

His smile is hideous.

His smile is gorgeous.

"Y/n, could we have a private talk, just the two of us?"

As much as the beast wanted Ace to watch him claim his mate, he needed it to be just the two of them. It's been two weeks of just being with each other, and with the mate pull, she has to at least have some feelings for him.

"Of course. Ace, we'll be in my room."

Ace just turned around and sat on the couch, thinking of a not-so-friendly plan.

The moment Y/n closed the door of her room, the beast spoke.

"Y/n, I love you."

For a second she forgot how to breath.

Yes, she liked him, but love was still too far away for her. And it surprised her as she thought the only man that would say that to her, would be Matt.

"You do? Uh, don't you think it's too early for love?"

"Not at all. For me it was love at first sight."

Y/n didn't know what to say other than to just confess her feelings also.

"Well, I like you, but I can't love you yet. It's just too early."

"That's fine! You don't have to love me right away. Just let time be in control of it."

His wolf wouldn't stop jumping inside of him. Everything inside him screamed joy. Even just her liking him sent tingles all over his body.

"Even so, could we-"

"Y/N! THERE'S A SPIDER!"

Both were started by the screaming from Ace. Zachary couldn't help but growl as he kept screaming, obviously to distract Y/n from him.

"Sorry, we can continue this later."

She walked out to go deal with the spider that Ace kept screaming about while the beast's eyes started to turn a blood red.

'She was about to become ours. Kill him, now. You can't let him get away with this. KILL HIM NOW!'

'I will, but I realized now that I have to take Y/n as soon as possible. There will always be people trying to tear us apart. So, I think it's time to make that story a reality.'

"Geez, why is everybody so afraid of spiders? They are so small."

"Hey! They are terrifying, you're just weird."

Y/n made an offended face and slapped Ace on the shoulder while he laughed. She soon smiled and looked in the direction of her door.

Where is he?

Zachary has yet to return to her living room, and she decided to check up on him.

"I'll be back. I'm just going to check on Zachary."

She peacefully walked to her room, unaware of the danger that awaits her in only a few minutes.

She lightly knocked, expecting a little 'come in", but it never came.

"That's weird. Why would he be asleep?"

She opened her door and became confused as she didn't see him anywhere. All she saw was fur on the ground and an open window.

"What happened?"

She walked towards the window, and suddenly a whiff of a familiar scent caught her nose. One that she would smell often while baking.

Smoke.

She was about to call for Ace, when something hard hit her head. All she could decipher was a faint voice as her conscious slowly faded.

"He'll regret doing that."

Finally some actual action in this story.

Look, I know it's both short and late, but I was super busy and it's only short because I can't really add anything else to this.
