"Hobi's been gone for a while now." Taehyung fidgeted nervously with the hem of his shirt. Jungkook had a troubled expression on their faces. Namjoon sighed and let go of Jin's hand, grabbing a gun from the coffee table and loaded it.
They were all sitting around a coffee table. All except from Yoongi, Jimin, and Hoseok. They hadn't heard from them for about five minutes now and they were getting increasingly worried for their friends.
"Should I go check on them?" Namjoon offered, giving Jin a sideways glance. Jin bit his lip. He didn't really like the idea of Namjoon going up there alone but at the same time he was worried for his friends. He picked up a water bottle and drank a bit of water, before noding.
"There's no need for that."
Everyone whirled around to find a tall man pointing a gun towards them. Jungkook aimed towards him, but Namjoon was completely silent, gun now hanging loosely at his side. "Namjoon?" Jin whispered frantically, tugging on the other's sleeve. The other man laughed. A cold laugh without any warmth or happiness in it.
"Your friend Kim has met with me before! Isn't that right pal?"
Namjoon still didn't say anything. Taehyung and Jungkook both slowly turned towards him with questioning gazes. "Jungkook, put your gun down."
"What-"
"Put it down!" Namjoon shouted, causing everyone aside from the man to flinch. "We can't win against him."
"Why? Namjoon what's going on?" Taehyung asked in a small voice, hiding behind Jungkook's back. The other's hand slightly held out in front of the boy.
Jin is now really confused when it suddenly clicked. He glanced at Namjoon's disfigured ear and everything came together. Why else would Namjoon react like this seeing someone? The man didn't seem worried at all and Namjoon usually wouldn't have a problem fighting someone. He would only be this nervous against someone very strong. Say...
"Because Taehyung..." Jin took a shaky breath inward, "That's the man that shot Namjoon's ear off."
"What? How can you know for sure?" Taehyung's voice went a few decibels quieter.
"Why else would Namjoon look so nervous? If this guy was normal Namjoon wouldn't worry at all. He must have incredible aim as well. It's extremely hard to hit someone's ear on accident." Jin explained, slowly trying pulling Namjoon back. The man threw his head back and let out another cold laugh.
"Well done! You've figured it out! You are correct. I did indeed shoot Kim's ear, and I commend you for figuring it out. Now I'm going to tell you the same thing that my friend told your pathetic friends, but in a nutshell. You're welcome, by the way. So sit tight!
We're going to capture you all and do whatever the hell we want with you guys. We're sorta running out of time to do what we want right now so we'll hurry up and capture you. Your deaths will be slow though don't worry. Anyways, now, after we capture you we'll torture your partners right in front of you, oh and burn down your friend's house.
Lastly, how do we know all this? Well, our intel is pretty good, and Luna knows everything. So yeah, I think that just about sums it up! And in the words of my buddy Jackson, 'if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask! It's not like you'll live long enough to put it to good use'. And, I think that's it! Also, don't fight. I can't guarantee you'll survive and it just makes my overall life harder. Oh! And the name's Bogum." Bogum gave a lavish bow and clapped twice.
"Well! No time to waste! Time's a-ticking!" And with that, he proceeded to smack Jungkook's left arm, the one that got blown up by a grenade earlier, causing the boy to yell in pain and drop his gun. The gun fell to the floor with a loud clatter, coming to rest in between Jungkook and Bogum.
Jin once again, couldn't move. He couldn't shove Namjoon to safety or anything. So he just watched in horror as Bogum advanced towards Taehyung, humming merrily. Taehyung was slowly backing up towards Namjoon and Jin but tripped over his own feet and fell. With that, Bogum clapped his hand on the boy's neck with so much force that the other passed out.
After dragging Taehyung and Jungkook and tying them up, Bogum refocused his attention towards Namjoon. Simply smacking his ear really hard. That was all it took for the boy to bleed again before going unconscious.
"I'll seeya soon." Bogum grinned before stamping on Jin's leg. The one Namjoon shot, making him black out in pain.
.-.-.-.
"Ugh...Where the hell am I?" Hoseok shook his head to get read of the dizziness and glanced around the room he was in. He was in a chair with his arms and legs tied to the chair, in a small dingy room with a single light and several boarded up windows. In the corner was a German Shepard. Probably there to watch him. But sucks for them he was good with animals.
"Hey boy?" He whistled lightly, causing the dog's ears to perk up. The dog turned towards Hoseok and walked towards him cautiously, growling quietly. Hoseok knew, that in order to tame any dog, you're not allowed to show fear. So he sat there nonchalantly, whistling, trying to befriend the dog.
The dog walked over and sniffed the hem of his pants before looking up and giving him a curious look, tilting his head sideways. Some guard dog. This dog just wants to play. Hoseok grumbled to himself.
"Alright buddy... Um... What's your name?" Hoseok tried to bend down but the dog jumped up and placed his two front legs on Hoseok's knee. The other was surprised but didn't flinch. A small collar flashed in his face.
"...Rice Ball? Hi Rice Ball, yeah, good boy."
In response, the dog yipped and wagged it's tail before suddenly quieting. "Are they treating you right?" Hoseok asked as the dog nuzzled it's head against his leg. Whining softly.
"They don't even treat their 'guard dogs' right. Poor you. I'm sorry Rice Ball." The dog shook his head, making the collar on his neck jingle. The dog walked over to the corner of the room and pushed a worn down tennis ball towards Hoseok, letting it roll to a stop against his feet.
"...You want to play?"
So, I thought of an Asian name for a dog because why not. Rice ball translates to 饭团, or fàn tuán in Chinese. Which I think is a very cute name. (Mainly because I can actually say it) But yeah. 饭团 is Rice ball in English... It's like naming a dog Cookie, or Olive. Or muffin or something I dunno. But yeah so don't flame me saying that Rice Ball is a stupid name 'cuz it's not. Also for the title I don't mean lost as in betray, I just mean they got separated. ¯\(°_o)/¯
