At the end of 6th period, I headed straight to Mr. Warren's class.

"Mr. Warren I'm so sorry. I've just never-", I was cut off when he told me to sit. He was sitting behind his desk with his feet up and reading a newspaper. "Do you have any homework?", he asked from behind the paper. "Uhh...", I stalled as I rustled through my book bag. "Actually no.", I finished. "Well, do you have a book?", he questioned. I nodded even though he couldn't see me and pulled out a book my friend lent me.

I was halfway through the book when I checked the clock. It read 4:45 PM which meant I was leaving in about half an hour since school ends at 3:15. When the time for me to leave came around, I was so ready because I could not take another second of complete silence except for the turning of pages.

I apologized to Mr. Warren and left. By the time I got home it was 6 on the dot.

"Hey, mom.", I smiled, hoping she wouldn't ask where and why I was home late. "Hey, sweetie.", she smiled back. Thank god. "Your father and I are going out tonight.", she told me. "Is Hayes and Nash home?", I asked. "No, they are at their friend's house." "Okay.", was all I said as I began walking upstairs.

I set my things in my room and exited to say hi to my little sister. I walked into my little sister's room. She was sitting on her swing and watching TV. "Hey Skyyy.", I smiled. She turned around with a bright smile and jumped off her swing, running to me, screaming, "Izzy!". I bent down to pick her up. "Hey, baby girl.", I said while spinning. I set her back down. "Whatcha watching?", I asked while sitting on her swing and placing her on my lap. "Frozen!", Skylynn shouted. We swung for a few minutes and she focused back on the TV. I pulled out my phone and texted Sammy.

[7:15 PM] isabella: what time are u getting dressed?

[7:18 PM] isabella: wanna come over after you get dressed?

Soon, Frozen came to an end and Skylynn was asleep in my lap. I got up, careful not to wake her up. I walked over to her bed and placed her under the covers. As I turned to leave, Skylynn whined and called for me. I then went around the bed and got under as well. She snuggled up to me and fell asleep again. I pulled out my phone and texted my other best friend, Maggie.

I laid in bed with Skylynn for a while, sleeping. I was awoken by the doorbell. I'm assuming my mom opened it because I heard talking. Someone came upstairs and I could hear footsteps leading to my room. The person then went in here.

It was Maggie.

"Heyyy.", she whispered with a smile. "Hiiii.", I replied, rubbing my eyes and getting up. "It's 9 already?", I yawned. She nodded and put her bag down next to Skylynn's bed. "I have to go get ready for the party.", I told Maggie, stretching. Her eyes lit up and she said, "Oooh, I wanna help." I walked out of Skylynn's room and Maggie followed behind. We went into my room and she immediately walked over to my closet. "Go shower. I'm picking your outfits. I'm gonna do your hair and makeup when you get out.", Maggie said gleefully. I nodded and turned on my heel to the bathroom.
