Prologue

Ren Kiko was sitting in the lecture hall taking notes. He sat in the back, his friend Kyo was sitting next to him. Him and Ren always passed notes in class, so it wasn't weird that he saw a folded note on his desk. Unfolding the paper to read the note.
"Hey, planning on going to a party next month. It is the end of the semester that is why we are throwing the party. Your ex Airi will be there with her new boyfriend. So do you want to go?'

Boyfriend? Ren and her literally just broke up a week ago and she is moving on. Well, I'm not surprised she cheated on me and justified it by saying she needed the extra attention. He sighed letting go the thoughts of her. He wrote back.

'I'll go I guess I just don't want to deal with her." He folded the paper back up and handed it to him. Kyo had a look of determination and wrote something down so fast then handed the paper back.

'Get a date then!' Ren read it with a puzzled feeling but then realized it might be a good idea. But who would want to date me. Ren remember reading a dark Witchcraft book about summoning a demon and making a blood pact. It's a strict pact but it is one to bring jealousy and pain. His goal is to get Airi to feel the pain.

Her and Ren where dating since the beginning of high school. When they got to college she seemed to change. She started to distant herself. She made him feel like he was nothing without her. Ren's family had money, and she wanted it that was all. She would steal his credit cards and would spend it on dumb things, and she would yell at him saying he owed her things.

Ren reminisced, the day he found out she was cheating....

I came home from class. I usually am home before her, but I saw her high heels bedside the front door next to someone else's shoes that weren't mine. I creeped into the living room. I saw a wine bottle was open, which wasn't out of the normal since she liked to drink but there were two glasses. I heard moaning in the main bedroom, my heart dropped. Before walking into that room, I remember she told me she doesn't and wouldn't have sex with me. She made it clear. And I respected it. So, when my hand lingered on the doorknob, I was lying to myself. I lied to myself saying she is prolly just masturbating. She isn't cheating...

I opened the bedroom door to see a tall slender man thrusting himself into her. Which caused her to moan with every thrust. She was on her back; he was on top of her. She clawed at his back while he fucked her. She was moaning loudly, why didn't she moan for me. When she noticed me, she didn't say anything. She just stared at me. I stared back. The guy didn't see me since his back was to me. I had left the room, I sat on my couch and poured myself a glass of a fancier wine. I owned this apartment. So, I didn't know what to do, my hands were shaking. When they finished the guy came out dressed and with kiss marks on the neck. He finally saw me. He slightly waved awkwardly and walked out. I got up and went to the bedroom I looked at Ari. She was laying on the bed with my shirt on while playing the phone.

I told her to leave the apartment and never come back. She screamed and me and tried to attack me. But then she gave up packed her things and left. I went to my room where my magic stuff was. I remember the last thing she told me. "You are a freak! So, it makes sense I would have never slept with you!"

She knew Ren was a wizard. Not a lot knew. She would want him to do magic for her. He threw out the bed sheets that night. I moved to a house I bought near my college. A fresh start at least...
