Kageyama was walking home from volleyball, a little worried about Hinata. On the way back, he stopped by Ukai's shop and bought some meat buns to bring to Hinata. These will make him feel better, he thought. It felt weird without Hinata by his side. He stopped by the park where they usually parted ways. He saw Ahano and another tall boy running away. Strange, he thought. I thought his mother wanted him? He stared out over the peaceful lake. When he was younger, he'd come here all the time with his mother and they'd always go on the swan-boat rides, and have fun together. They didn't do that anymore. He sighed. About to get up and leave, he thought he heard something. Splash splash. Was it a bird in the water? He looked towards the direction of the sound, he saw a...human tied up? Drowning?! He ran closer, and then jumped in. 

It was so cold. Still winter, the lake hadn't yet frozen over, but was extremely cold. Still, he couldn't ignore a drowning person. Swimming downwards towards the sinking person, his eyes widened in shock as he saw something. That bright orange hair...could it be..? He swam closer, The boy wasn't moving. Finally he wrapped his arms around the boy and broke the surface. Gasping for air, he looked at the unconscious boy to see Hinata's face. "Oh my god Hinata?!" He stumbled out of the lake and ran towards his house, as it was closer. His parents weren't home yet, and still at work. He didn't care about the water dripping all over the floor. He laid the soaking Hinata in the bathtub and propped his head up. 

Hinata's lips were blue from the cold and he was pale. So pale. Kageyama put a hand to his forehead to feel frigid skin. Shit. What do I do? The only thing he could think of was to get Hinata warm. He ran the warm tub water on Hinata until his lips were pink again and his skin was lively. Then, he grabbed the towel and dried him off. Although Hinata's hair was waterlogged, it was still poofy. Kageyam touched it. Soft...No! Focus on getting him better first. He laid the still-wet Hinata on top of a towel on his bed. He then took a shower himself. While in the shower, many thoughts ran through his head. 

Why was he tied up? Obviously someone threw him into the river, but who? And why? What is going on? 

He got out of the shower and dried his hair. When he got out, Hinata wasn't in his bed. "Hinata?!"

Earlier...

Hinata was cold. So cold. But also warm. He sniffed. Smells like Kageyama. Wait a minute. Smells like Kageyama?! He jolted up. He was on top of a soaking towel in a bed. The bedsheets were damp from his hair and body. He was in Kageyama's bedroom. He blushed. He was in Kageyama's bedroom. This was wrong. Kageyama probably didn't like him back. Still blushing furiously, he walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.

He sat down and started texting his other friends what had happened.

Hinata added Flattykawa🚪, Iwaizumi,  Kenma 🎮🖤, kuroo, and heyheyhey🦉 to Kool Kids
