The Wedding

1 month later, it is almost Jack and Maria's wedding day. A week before the wedding. Grayson went to the Los Angeles Police Station to find Jack. The receptionist saw him by the desk. "Can I help you?", she asked. "I'm looking for Sergeant Jack Swann.", Grayson replied.

The receptionist phones Jack. "Please take a seat and Sergeant Swann won't be long.", the receptionist replied, and Jack sat down and wait for Jack to arrive. Jack come in, and saw Grayson sitting there.

"Jack!", Grayson called out. "Gray? What are you doing here?", Jack asked. "I need your help.", Grayson replied. "Ok, come with me, to my office.", Jack replied, as he escorts Grayson to his office. After their conversation, Grayson shake hands with Jack before leaving the station.

2 days before the wedding, my whole family and I flew to Paris, France, where the wedding will be held. Our friends and relatives flew in to join the celebration. My sisters invited Elijah, Jason and Will to the wedding to be their dates.

On the day of the wedding, Maria was in her bridal suite, getting ready for her big day. Courtney is her maid of honour, while Lyla and I are her bridesmaids.

My hair is styles into a half up-do princess braid, while Lyla does an up-do braid-high ponytail, and Courtney's shoulder length hair is just curled.

Maria's hair is styled into a princess braid bun, just like how my hair was styled from prom. Our bridesmaid dresses is light pink, but all of them are in different styles. Courtney's dress is long from the back and has straps.

Lyla's dress is almost the same as Courtney's, but it's short, and my dress is long like Courtney's but it's a shoulders off.

Maria's wedding dress is a beautiful long white, shoulders off gown with a long white veil. After getting into our dresses, Maria's parents came in to see her.

Meanwhile, in the grooms suite, Jack was getting into his suit with Phillip as his best-man and his two best friends as his groomsmen.

As guests arrived, Jack and his groomsmen went to the ceremony to wait for Maria to walk down the aisle. My parents and sisters sat down with the guests at the ceremony, and waited for us to walk down the aisle. Maria and the bridesmaids are ready, as we're all about to walk down the aisle.

Lyla, Courtney and I walked down the aisle first, before Maria and her father walks down the aisle together, as guests stood up and watch them walk down, along to the song "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Haley Reinhart. Jack was smiling, as Maria walks down the aisle.

I watched as Jack and Maria exchanged vows and wedding rings before they are pronounced as husband and wife. After being pronounced as husband and wife, Jack and Maria kiss for the first time as a married couple. Everyone cheered as they kiss.

We then took a group photo, and my family and I took a group photo with Jack and Maria, before everyone went to the reception to have cocktail hours, as Jack and Maria went around the venue's garden to take their wedding photos by their photographer.

I arrive to the reception, which is outdoor, surrounded by trees and decorated with string lights. "Mia!", Katie called out. I look and saw her with Josie and their boyfriends. I join them and they gave me a drink, then Lyla and her date, Will joins us. "You're having fun?", Josie asked.

"Yep.", I smiled. "Mia, you haven't been yourself since prom.", Katie replied. "Can we please not talk about it? Today is about Jack and Maria, we can't ruin their day.", I replied. Then the DJ announce Jack and Maria's entrance, who arrives to the reception together.

"Please give a big welcome to the newlyweds!", the DJ called out as everyone cheered. Jack and Maria enters the reception as everyone cheered for them. As guests have their first course, Jake and Maria went from table to table to greet their guests.

Then Jack and Maria came to my table, where I share with my sisters and their dates. "Hey, Mia-Doll.", Jack smiled. "Hey, congratulations!", I smiled. "Thank you so much.", Maria smiled. "You look beautiful, today.", I sighed. Maria smiles and hugs me.

After having our second course, it was time for Jack and Maria to have their first dance. They dance to an orchestral version of "Lover" by Taylor Swift and I watched them dancing happily together and kiss on the dance floor.

As I watch from the distance, their love for each other reminds of Grayson and I, and I realise that I miss him so much.
