"Ya ya, why is your uniform like that? Fix it. You, do you know what time it is now? You kids test me every day.” Their homeroom teacher, Oh Ji Wang was on gate duty today, trying to catch students with inappropriate uniforms, hair etc.

Gang Tae and Moon Young were holding hands as they ran towards the gate, a few minutes before the gates closed and they would be marked down for being late.

He looked at her, “Moon Young-ah a little more, just a little more.” He said as he increased his pace.

Teacher Oh, stood at the gate, peeking out and glaring at the last few students rushing into the school grounds. He was surprised seeing Moon Young and Gang Tae holding hands and running. They made it just in time, releasing each other’s hands as they crossed the gate and greeted him, brisking walking towards their class.

“What is this? Since when did they start dating?” He asked out loud, scratching his head with the scratcher he was holding onto. “Aigoo, those were the good old days. I should visit Soon Deuk one day” He gestured at the guards to close the school gate, making his way back to the teacher’s office.

“It’s a relief we aren't late.” Gang Tae said, smiling and wiping off the sweat on his face with the sleeves of his uniform.

“Strange, usually time passes by really slowly but with you, I didn't even realize how much time passed.” Moon Young said, offering him a tissue which he gladly took.

“Maybe it’s the company after all.” Gang Tae said shyly.

He wiped himself roughly unaware of the corners of his forehead glistening with perspiration, without hesitating she approached him and helped him wipe his forehead. “You missed a spot.”

“Thank you..” He looked at her in surprise, his cheeks flushing bright red. The bell chimed and they looked at each other laughing as they rushed to their classroom before the first period commenced.

Upon entering class together, there was a moment of silence as their classmates stared at them in curiosity and surprise before breaking into whispering and chaos that were loud enough for both Moon Young and Gang Tae to hear.

“Why are they entering together?”

“Someone said they were holding hands while entering school.”

“No serious, YooNa said she said them running while holding hands.”

“The lower graders saw them eating together at a bench near the bus stop.”

“No wonder she rejected Hyung Sik sunbae.”

Gang Tae gazed at Moon Young, who looked back smiling at him. Despite the whispers and comments being made regarding them, they could not see nor hear anything except each other.

They were smiling throughout the entire day, thinking of the short yet precious moment they shared in the morning. Imagine if merely fifteen minutes of being together had this effect on both of them, a date would make them lose their minds.

Date...Gang Tae thought. A date. Should he ask her out on a date? He chuckled, feeling bashful as he buried his face on his desk.

“What the hell..what was that.” Jae Su scoffed, shocked at his best friend’s reaction. “He’s completely lost it. He’s completely smitten.”

Juri tried to ignore the coincidences piling up, first, her classmate comes running into the classroom telling them she saw Gang Tae and Moon Young holding hands and coming to school, next someone says they saw them having breakfast at a bench near the school. Not only that, both of them also arrived and enter the class at the same time.
