"I see, you are the new girl..."
Now that I can see her clearer, she looks younger than Pulcher and Iustus. Are we the same age? No, she looks two to three years younger than me...
"Yes, I still don't know my name but they call me Ar-"
The girl scoffed. "You know what? It doesn't matter. I'll forget your name after anyways, weakling," she smiled sarcastically and sat up straight, "Captain isn't here that's why I'm the one in charge of assigning your test..."
Now I understand what Pulcher was saying earlier...
"It's weird, the captain usually doesn't stay outside this late..." Iustus said, crossing his arms, "Captain usually comes back before dusk but it's almost a day..."
"Don't tell me she's..." Pulcher said, her eyes widened, "...she's had enough of your attitude?!" Pulcher covered her mouth with her hands, "Oh yeah, I can see why not..."
"Can you please shut the hell up?" It was the girl's turn to speak, "Maybe she's still luring those abominations away from our barricades!"
Pulcher snickered, "Yeah yeah, who cares about your thoughts by the way..."
The girl glared at Pulcher.
"Uhm, what is your name?" I asked.
"Ah, so you two didn't tell her already?!" the girl's voice became loud. Why does this girl gets triggered easily?
"Just so you know, we aren't a yelling stock and it's not our responsibility to tell everyone your name. It's yours, not mine!" Pulcher yelled back at her, "Let's go Iu, I really hate that stupid spoiled brat."
"Who are you calling stupid spoiled brat?!"
"Oh, she asked..." Pulcher said, rolling her eyes, "Who else is the stupid brat here, if you know what I'm saying?"
"What!? You will pay for this," the girl suddenly took out the weapon from a sheath attached to her back and readied it to swing on Pulcher. Her first step was so fast that she was already half a meter near Pulcher.
Pulcher quickly took out her weapon from her sheath and safely avoided the girl's attack by blocking it.
"You wouldn't want to mess with us," Pulcher said as the girl's eyes widened. She looked back as she saw Iustus at her back, just about to swing his weapon on her back but she quickly sprinted sideways. Iustus' weapon then hit the ground, leaving the sword's trace as he swung it back and held it, preparing for an attack.
"Not bad," the girl said. She sprinted again towards them and attacked. Pulcher jumped backward and then defended herself with her weapon. Iustus then attacked sideways but unexpectedly, the girl divided her weapon into two and blocked the other half of the weapon from Iustus' attack.
I looked at Pulcher, she didn't seem to be surprised by the girl's weapon, the same with Iustus.
Sprinting towards the girl, Pulcher threw something in the air and it glistened.
Is that a thread? No, kind of a wire... a very thin wire...
Iustus on the other side, caught what Pulcher threw. The girl jumped backward and blocked both their swords as she pushed back with force. Pulcher and Iustus then ran in a circular motion, both preparing to attack the girl. Both blocking Pulcher and Iustus, the girl pushed back again and countered the attacks given by the two. Jumping backwards, the two were about to launch an attack again when the girl spun herself twice with her sword protruding. Pulcher quickly jumped backwards. Iustus, on the other hand, didn't jump backwards on time, having the sword of the girl hit him on his right arm.
