The next morning you woke up to the smell of potato stew. You sat up feeling your body ache as if you ran a mile but it was only till you began to look around the small room you realized you did indeed run more than one mile. Getting up you notice that Yumi is still sleeping soundly so you decide to get up quietly as you decide best that you should leave the room and just follow the smell. You could hear the soft giggles of Yumi mom which you soon greet. "Good morning ma'am!" The woman gives you a soft closed eye smile before she pats your head which makes you smile in return. "Such manners~ And call me Mimi!" She turns her body back to the stew string slightly. "Do you know how to cook Y/n?"

You let out a small 'yes ma'am' as you head towards the stove where she is at. She smiles as she pours a bowl of stew handing it to you which you thank her for. "Well that's good! I know you're leaving today but if you're in that much trouble we are leaving this territory in a few weeks and you're more than welcome to join us. As long as you're not seeing anyone because my son's single, if you're interested, I wouldn't mind having a cutie like you around!" You begin to choke on your stew as she laughs while patting your back.

"Stop it!" The male walks in which makes his mother back away. "Oh don't be shy Yuko! I used to be like you till I met your father!" She squeals which makes the male roll his eyes as he takes your bowl of stew and gulps it down. You could help but stare at the male in disbelief as he eats away at the potatoes and makes the mother pout. "That's not how you win a girl over!" The mother pours another bowl and slides it towards you but before you can grab it she grabs on your face making you face her. "Come on, say you'll marry my son!" You do your best to avoid eye contact with the women but she won't let up.

At least until Yuko had enough and pushed his mother away from "Enough! You think I wanna get with this loser!" He places his hand on your head and shakes it around which makes you grab on to his and to stop him from shaking you. This made the male embarrassed once more which made his mother laugh and you apologize as you let go of the males hand. "Moron." With that potato is stuffed in your mouth as his mother laughs some more.

"Come on now! Eat it before it gets cold." You nod as you chew quietly until the mother speaks up once again "Maybe you can cook for us sometime!" Your face flushed once again but you nod either way. "Ya that sounds like fun!" The male looks away as he eats more of his stew while his mother smiles once more but everyone's attention soon turns to Yumi who's yawning as she enters the room. "Wakey wakey!" Her mother yells as she groans, laying her head on the table.

"Did you sleep well?" You ask her which she smirks in reply. "Of course I did. You're really comfortable." You blush in embarrassment as the girl hugs you. You were all cut off from your conversation when loud knocking was at the door. You felt your heart drop at the sudden noise as the whole family stood still. "I'll get it. Stay back..." but before he could continue the door was busted open which made you all jump back.

It was an old man who came bargaining in and shouting like a madman. "There's a big fire! Women and children have to evacuate to the castle!" Yumi hands you a skirt to put on as their mother rushes towards the older man. "Is the town evacuating? Is it that bad?" The man nods as he spots Yuko and grabs onto his arm. "You boy! Come on men have to stay behind and help put the fire out. Hurry up we have to do this-" The old man was cut off as the soldier approached the door. "Please hurry and evacuate! The Prince is allowing the women and children to head to the castle while the men stop the fire."

Yumi's mother grabs our hands, smiling at the soldier. "Thank you! Be safe Yuko!" The soldier smirks looking at Mimi as they were around the same age which the panicked man did not like as soldiers were supposed to help put out the fire as well. ''We have to go! We Have To Go!" The soldier shrugs the old man off as he grabs onto Mimi and begins to lead us out the house. "Would you like to be guided towards the castle?" Yet the woman's happy flirty personality seems to vanish just as it came. "No." The man was startled by the way her eyes gave off an emotionless look as she shoved the male in the shoulder guiding you and Yumi away which soon caused the soldier to growl. "Whatever you say bitch!" You frowned at the soldier as he turned away walking towards the next house.

Mimi's eyes soon returned to their normal look as they stared into your e/c ones which caused her to smile. "I only have eyes for my dear husband! Huh where did that man go?"

You looked at the woman confused at her sudden change of behavior but pushed it off as Yuko came back into view. "Hey Yuko! Hold up!" You felt nervous for some reason but Yuko was a nice guy and you didn't want him to get hurt. " I know we just met, but be careful okay? Don't do anything stupid" You couldn't tell if it was the flames in the background or if he was just embarrassed again but the male gave you a soft smile before hitting your head as he turned away to follow the old man.

"You know, you could have flirted with my brother later. We have to follow them either way. That's the way to the castle." Yumi laughs to herself as their mother skips towards her son. As we arrived closer to the fire you began to notice where the fire was starting to spread too. It was Henry's house.....

You let go of Yumi's hand without even thinking as you walked closer to his home. You couldn't help standing in front of your childhood best friend's house in a motionless state at least that was until you heard a scream. 'It couldn't be him in their right? He wouldn't die on me too.' Without thinking you ran into the house. "Y/N!" You could hear Yumi yell as she finally realized you weren't beside her any more but you had to find him. You wouldn't let him die. "Henry! Please Answer Me!" You've begun to cough harshly as the smoke begins to consume your lungs as you continue to look for your childhood friend.

The building slowly fell apart and you were reduced to looking up stairs in his bedroom. "Where could he be?" As soon as you reached his room parts of the roof began to cave in as burning planks fell onto your leg causing you to fall down and scream out in pain. You managed to push the planks off your leg but your leg burned very much and you wanted to give up and just stay there but you couldn't leave Henry here to die. "HENRY!"

With you standing up once more you notice the brown haired figure on the floor. "Henry!" You made your way to the male only to find out the male was unconscious. His brown hair was dirty from the ashes and his face was bruised. A plank fell on him which probably knocked him out. You began to shake the male earning no response. You groaned in frustration as you turned your attention to the plank that was catching on fire that you quickly lifted off of him but the real struggle was with him. You pulled him close as you began to let out sobs of plea. "I'm right here okay" You couldn't move him as much as you would like as you felt your mind begin to cloud from the smoke. Yet you felt the heat pick up as a breeze came in from a window nearby which made you light up. "A window!" You dragged him towards the bursted window quickly yelling out "Help! Please Help!" You began to shout over and over which brought a few people attention. An older man ran over yelling for the others to come along. "Miss you're gonna have to jump!"

"I have someone with me! He's unconscious!" More men came as the man shouted for them to hurry and they all gathered close to the building. "Put him down first!" After a while you managed to get Henry half way out the window. You could feel yourself about to lose consciousness but you had to save him. With a push the men caught him and you let out a small smile as your legs gave out. The men outside were shouting for you to jump but their voices were getting further and further away. "I'm glad...."
