"Are your wounds okay?" Nigel asked me for the nth time when we began packing our things. 

I nodded. "It's fine now."

"I can carry you towards the van if you still can't walk."

"No, I can do it. Thank you."

Mabilis kong niligpit ang mga gamit ko. Nigel is already finish in packing his things so he decided to help me with mine. Konti lang naman ang mga gamit na dala ko kaya natapos agad.

We're heading back to Manila since the photoshoot in the private island is already done. It was a successful shooting and we managed to have wonderful and effective shots for our promotional campaign. 

Paika-ika ako sa paglalakad habang nakaalalay sa'kin si Nigel. Tinulungan niya ako nang makarating kami sa van. He placed my things inside and sat beside me. Tahimik ang byahe dahil sa pagod hanggang sa makarating kami sa mismong building ng De Velar.

That night with Darius near the falls ended unexpectedly. I was completely caught off guard. Bago pa man kami makapag-usap ay biglang dumating si Nigel. Nigel immediately ran towards me upon seeing the situation. Siya ang nagbuhat sa akin pabalik sa cabin at ang naglinis ng sugat ko.

I didn't get the chance to talk with Darius and that was the only thing he said. Hindi ako makatulog noong buong gabing iyon dahil sa sinabi niya. Kinabukasan ay nalaman ko na lang na umalis si Darius dahil sa importanteng business trip at babalik na lang sa mismong fashion event. 

That's it. That's how it ended. 

"Babies," I immediately smiled when I saw them on the screen. 

"We miss you, Maman." Flame said. "When are you going back?"

"Just a week more and Mommy will be there, alright?" 

Bahagya akong nalungkot dahil sobrang namiss ko na sila. I suddenly want to fly to France just to see them. Ngayon lang kami nagkahiwalay ng matagal na tulad nito. Hindi ako masyadong sanay na mapalayo sa mga anak ko.

"Don't worry, I will take care of my brother." napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Flare.

Nakita ko ang pagnguso ni Flame sa sinabi ng kapatid. "I will take care of you, too! I'm older!" 

"But you made la mémé mad a while ago because you chased the dog!" 

"Flame..." panimula ko kaya nakita kong mas lalong bumusangot ang mukha ni Flame dahil sa panunumbong ng kakambal. "You shouldn't give your la mémé a headache, okay? Be good boys, the two of you." 

"We will, Mommy." 

Matapos ng tawag na iyon ay nagpahinga ako ng buong araw sa unit ni Poly. Nigel cooked for our dinner since Poly will not go home.

Sunod na ginawa ko ay ang paghahanap ng taong nakabili ng property sa France. That's one of my objectives upon coming here in the Philippines. I'd like to to personally negotiate with him or her.

I tried tracing the number, even hired some professionals since the number is difficult to trace. Then I came up with an address.

Kinabukasan ay pumunta ako sa address na nakuha ko. Today is a free day and the remaining thing that we have to do for the collaborative project with De Velar is the fashion runway event which will be held two days from now. 

Pumunta si Nigel sa De Velar para tumulong pa ng ibang aasikasuhin. I used one of Poly's car to go to the address. Medyo may kalayuan 'yon kaya natagalan ako ng konti. Isang simpleng bahay ang nagtagpuan ko.
