Sunshine boy

The boy was startled but let out a faint chuckle at the awkwardness of the situation while Max turned red in embarrassment, he tried and failed to look composed; he let out a quiet

"H-hi!"

The boy nodded his head and let out an equally quite 'hi' he had a very deep raspy voice.

Max took a deep breath and decided to start a conversation with the boy, as he was clearly not trying to talk with Max and it was becoming really awkward for him sitting on the bed while the boy stood there not doing anything just looking around, he decided to introduce himself to the boy.

"I'm Maxwell, but you can call me Max" he said with a bright smile

"what's your name?" He said still smiling, the boy sighed and answered

"I'm Orion Black"

Max tilted his head to a side curiosity evident in his wide brown eyes as he asked,

"Orion, as in the Star Orion?"

The raven boy let out a sigh thinking, 'I need to tolerate this guy for a 'master' until I'm here', trying not to fake his emotions in which he had become a master to mask off he plainly answered him "No, Orion as in the constellation Orion."

And again he turned a full tomato in matter of seconds, from embarrassment

"Ohh okay, how old are you?" He asked again, Orion understood what the boy was trying to do to break the awkwardness of the situation, but this is not how things usually happened when he was bought by someone, this was just as new to him.

Orion just raised his eyebrows at the question but answered him "I am 21"

"Oh I'm 19 and can we be friends?" he asked hurriedly, he even sounded nervous, as if he was not the master, even Orion was surprised to hear that he wanted to be a 'friend', but pushed the thought away and continued to stare at him, his brown hair looked fluffy and as soft as fur, it was tempting to him to run his fingers through them, while he gave him soft puppy eyes without noticing making it really hard to say no, so instead of answering Orion further asked

"So you are the son of the one of the most dangerous Mafia who asked for a pet, and now that you have a pet, all you want to be with that pet is friends?"

Max just smiled at him real bright, showing off his pearly white teeth.

"Yes I wanted a pet, but an animal pet but my father refused too, even after so many times of begging and then he bought me you, oh no! It sounds so wrong, this is why I can't make friends. I can't even talk-'' he was rambling looking anywhere but at Orion, while Orion looked like he really wanted to laugh at him, but just cut him off and said

"it's ok I can be your friend"

Max looked shocked then slowly as he realised that he just said 'yes' a smile slowly graced his face, lighting up his features, his eyes turning into half moons while Orion kept his face blank Max kept smiling at him like a bright sun.

All that Orion thought was 'God he really is a Sunshine Boy'
