(3) The Vaizel Fighting Festival

"WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE GREAT VAIZEL FIGHTING FESTIVAL!"

I stood at the front of the crowd, observing my matches. Then I listening in to the rules.

"First up is the elimination round! The rules of this round are EXTREMELYYY simple! Knock your opponents out of this ring! Throwing them out is fine. Pushing,too! Or send them FLYING!! as long as it's bare handed,ten contenders that are still standing will move onto the finals."

Sounds easy enough.

I scouted the area and then noticed Meliodas. He wasn't with Elizabeth.. but with.. Ban.. and..King???! But where was Diane?.

Man the time me,Merlin and Arthur spent gathering information they've spent gathering everyone up.. tactical.And expected.

I looked around and spotted the boat  hat tavern on a nearby hill.
She was probably there, you know, being a giant and all. She'd probably scare the villagers. Especially after the incident when That giant went rogue at one of the festivals.

I stared at Gideon and Scyther, which were both imbedded into a huge rock behind the stadium. I can't wait to win it back, and the Gideon too. Though I'm not sure when I'll be able to give Diane Gideon back.. guess we'll have to wait huh.

"Now then"..

The host started speaking once more.

"LET THE FIGHTING BEGIN!"

The festival started at least five to ten minutes ago, and I was one out of ten people still standing in the first arena.

There was me, Ban,(nicknamed baaaan), King(old fart.. for some reason), Meliodas, who's name I can't remember, some holy knights, some others I can't remember, and this girl named Matrona.. who seemed pretty badass and OP.

She also seemed to be wearing a cloak, and she was very skilled too.

'Guess it's time for the finals then..'

I sighed before looking up and around the ring.

This is where it gets detailed..

King barely made it into the finals..
I scoffed.
His stupid pillow allowing him to float..

"Way to cheat king!"

Meliodas had cheered to king.

"You really consider it cheating?.."
King went slightly red, from embarrassment.

We all headed inside a small building by the arena for the finals. We had to decide match ups probably.

"And now We will hold the lottery to decide the match ups!"

The pipsqueak little host thing decided to talk again.
Man he really gets on my nerves..

"Come on up and draw your luck! First round will be contenders who both draw the same letter!"
