Ever since the release of the app called 'Love Alarm", everyone in school has mostly spent their time walking around using the app, hoping that the alarm will alert them of someone who is crushing on them.

You were one of these people, ever since the release of the app, you had been walking past or behind this boy and his group of friends. Who was this boy you may ask. Well, it's none other then So Junghwan

This boy in question has been your crush ever since you moved to the school, but the thing was, every other girl had a crush on Junghwan and his friends. Your friend, Misun, was really close with Bang Yedam, one of Junghwan's friends.

And it was majorly obvious the two liked eachother, especially since the app alerted them of it. Your japanese friends, Hina and Hiroko, were close with the Japanese line of Junghwan's friends. Which were Yoshinori, Mashiho, Haruto and Asahi

And out of your friends, you were the one who barely got noticed by half the school, you were lucky to even have friends at this school.

Y/n's POV

I once again walked past him and his group of friends with the app opened, hoping that the alarm will this time light up telling me my crush had a crush on me. But no, the heart on my phone's screen remained void, completely empty.

A little bit of my heart cracked, but i kept strong. I returned to my group of friends, and slumped against the wall. They looked at me, and gave eachother 'the look'

Misun was the first to speak to me. "Junghwan still doesn't have a crush on you?" She asked me, i nodded sadly.

I groaned to myself. "Why do i have to have a crush on the most popular boy in school, it's upsetting. All of you are lucky, cause you actually know some of his friends.." I said, before the idea popped into my head.

I jumped up, making my friends jump a little. "Can you introduce me to them?" I grabbed Misun's hands and bounced up and down like a child.

Misun and my other two friends knew they weren't getting out of this, and agreed to introduce me to Junghwan, after all, they must know him.

No one's POV

Y/N and her group of friends walked towards Junghwan's group of friends, with Misun, Hina and Hiroko getting greetings and you, well, the same old not being noticed.

Misun made sure to introduce you up front and center, with her starting the conversation. "This is our friend, Y/N, she's a new friend we made" She explained. The boys in front of them exchanged whispers and looks, before the boy named Junkyu pointed out "isn't she the girl who follows Junghwan around" he smiled, before getting slapped by the boy next to him, who's name was Jihoon.

You smiled shyly, but most likely looking more anxious then you wanted to. After all, you were standing right in front of your crush of like, 4 months, who was just staring at you.

And after that day, you and Junghwan began talking more and more. Getting closer and closer, you were basically friends. You just didn't want it to turn out he was just feeling sorry for you and being your friend just because you had a crush on him.

It was blatantly obvious you did, you literally followed him around school 24/7, and now you were basically glued to him after becoming friends. Of course you looked desperate to his fangirls, getting bullied every now and then by some girl named Sae-mi (if you get the reference, i love you).

*time skip*

Y/N's POV

I sat down beside Junghwan during lunch, getting glares from all of his fangirls on other tables. Especially Sae-mi, Junghwan smiled at me, greeting me kindly. I smiled back, making sure to spare quickly glances at my phone. Still a void heart.

I sighed a little, before putting on a smile. Starting to eat my lunch quietly. Only answering when spoken too.

It was now the end of school, and i was walking home. I decided to take a shortcut home, heading down a dark alleyway, totally not going to get murdered or something. I only took the shortcut to collect my thoughts, thinking about if i should just let my crush on Junghwan go.

"Hey" i heard someone call from behind me, getting pulled out of my thoughts i turned around to come face to face with Saemi and her gang of friends approaching me. I sighed, replying "what do you want, Saemi?". I didn't have time for her and her gang of wenches.

She scoffed, smirking a little. "Stay away from Junghwan, he wouldn't want anything to do with a low-life like you" her friends behind her chuckled, i scoffed as well. "If he didn't want anything to do with me, then how did i become his friend?" Saemi stood there glaring at me.

I turned around to walk away, but before i could get away from them, one of Saemi's friends pulled my hair and ended up throwing me on the ground. I looked up at them and said "i like it on the ground".

They all glared at me. Before one of them kicked me in the sound, making me cough a little. I attempted to get up, but Saemi just kicked me back onto the ground. And then, they started kicking me harder, how fun.

Before anything could get serious, we all heard a loud of "hey!" From behind us, with all of us looking into the direction of where the voice came from, seeing Junghwan, and his friends approaching us with my friends tagging along.

I smiled a little, as Saemi and her friends tried to cover up their actions by acting all cute-like. But it definitely wasn't working-

Junghwan told Saemi and her friends to get lost. They all scoffed walking away defeated, obviously hurt their precious oppar saw what they were doing. Junghwan helped me up, holding me close. I looked into his eyes as our friends stayed silent watching the scene unfold.

I smiled, saying a small "thanks" as Junghwan sighed a little. "Why didn't you wait for us, we all got worried" he said, mumbling a small "i especially got worried", but you didn't seem to hear that, as you heard the sound of "ting!" go off from my pocket.

No one's POV

You looked at your phone and couldn't believe your eyes. You thought you were just dreaming. But you knew you weren't. The smile on your face grew wider as you saw the pink heart on your phone screen finally filled up with the number '1' hovering above it.
