"So Ava, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will Charlie" I said instantly before reaching up to him standing on his converse so I could reach and kissing him. It was a sweet meaningful kiss and I couldn't be happier right now.
"We better get some food now sweetie", he said whilst taking hold of my delicate hand and brushing his thumb over mine.
"Sure, the canteens just round the corner, I'm starving" I said while we walked to get to the back of the que. I bought some pasta and Charlie got a sandwich before we sat down at a table and started eating.
The bell rang for next period and we both had geography except we were in separate classes so we said goodbye to each other and went to our separate classes.
I sat down next to one of my close friends Sara and we started talking about what we were going to do this weekend.
"So hun what you up to this weekend then, you got any parties to go to?"she asked me with a little smirk,
"Nope I guess it will be the usual just chilling watching Netflix by myself" I laughed.
"Well Jason's having a party and he said anyone's invited so you can come if you want, but only if you tell me what's going on with you and that new hottie ay" she winked.
"Don't tell anyone, but.... he asked me out at lunch and well he's tutoring me and last night things got a tiny bit heated at his. Not overly heated don't worry, we didn't do it or anything haha" I said as I explained in how we met in maths and about the tutoring and lunch. She seemed really happy for me which I was pleased about and I couldn't wait to ask Charlie about the party.
It got to the end of the school day and I met Charlie at the gate so we could walk home together. He only lived round the corner from me which meant we got to walk together for quite a long time. We soon reached my house and I asked if he wanted to stay at mine for a little bit.
"I'd love too babe", he said as I walked to the door with me and I got my key out to unlock the door.
We went inside and I heard my mum cleaning in the kitchen, "Mum I'm home and is it alright if Charlie can stay here for a bit"
"Oh yes sure, I didn't know you too had tutoring tonight?"
"Oh we don't Mrs Miller..." Charlie said and I thought I should but in and tell her about us.
"We're together now mum, he asked me out today", I could feel myself going slightly crimson but mum seemed okay with it,
"Awh I'm so happy for you two, Ava has been talking about you quite a lot the past few days", by this point I was bright red and wanted the ground to swallow me up.
I shouted "Mum seriously, shush", Charlie just looked at me and giggled taking my hand in his.
