LUKE

We all stood huddled in front of her door. My heart was beating out of my chest, I haven't seen Arden in three years. Arden Matthews. God, even the name makes me go slightly insane.

"You have Evelyn and you love her. She probably doesn't even remember you." I wrap my arm around Eve's waist and pull her closer to my side. The door creaks open and she looked absolutely perfect. Her eyes locked with mine and we stared at eachother, a indescribable look on her face.

"Hello, Mrs. Hemmings! Hey guys! Please do come inside." The mysterious man places a kiss on her temple and my grip on Evelyn tightens slightly.

"Tyler and I were about to make pancakes, please make yourself at home." Now I recognize him, Tyler Harris. The five of us were actually really close friends, after I allegedly stole his girlfriend from him he began to despise me.

"Nonsense! Boys and Evelyn go help Arden and Tyler." Once Tyler unraveled himself from Arden, the guys immediately wrapped her in a bear hug.

"How has our babygirl been doing?" Calum asks notcholontly, with a small smirk forming. Cal or any of the other guys never gave Evelyn a nickname.

"Hey Hood. Watch it." Tyler calls from the fridge, his tone was slightly angry, yet he managed to crack a laugh.

"She's my babygirl." He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her towards him, encasing her lips with his.

She was my babygirl first.

"Ew! Gross!" Erupted from all three of them, playfully shielding their eyes.

"We didn't come all the way back to Australia to see you guys snogging constantly, I suggest you guys cut it out right now." Ashton and his fatherly like ways will never get old.

"You guys remind me of Luke over here and his girlfriend."

I sit on the counter with Evelyn, her head placed on my shoulder.

"Hey, you guys get off that counter! We eat there!" Arden jokes, the guys laugh in response.

"Oh, shut up I remember when we were five and you scraped your knee. Blood and dirt everywhere!" I tease, her laugh fills the room. Let me just say that is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard, Evelyn tenses beside me.

"Only because you pushed me!" She manages to say through her fit of laughter. Tyler wraps his arms around her, pulling her towards his chest. My smile fades, she glances at Tyler and I and her smile fades as well. We all sat in a awkward silence, soon broken by Michael.

"So, let's get cooking. Those pancakes won't flip themselves!"

ARDEN

When Luke brought up the memory I was oddly happy. I still couldn't believe he remembered that, a smile tugs at the corners of my mouth.

"What are you smiling about babe?" Tyler asks, Luke stands behind him. His eyes lock with mine and he winks playfully, our eyes are ripped apart when Evelyn kisses him, on the lips. He breaks away quickly to recapture his eyes with mine. My heart sunk, I advert my eyes from him and look up at Tyler.

"Nothing, you're just being so darn cute." My arms wrap around his neck and place a small peck on his lips, the boys run amuck. Michael chasing Calum and Ashton with a spoonful of pancake batter. I glance at Luke one last time, his eyes full of betrayal, serves him right.

It took an hour but we made ten pancakes. Except for the two Michael and Calum burned. Ashton attempted to flip a pancake in the air, needless to say it didn't make it into the pan. Tyler put a dollop of pancake batter on my nose, in return I put a handful of pancake of batter in his hair.
