"Aurora! The train is going to leave, with or without you!"

Aurora looked up into the bathroom mirror after she finished splashing her face with water. Her curled, honey colored hair was laying loosely over her shoulders. Her skin was tan from the summer, but her eyes were the same shade of hazel green.

Aurora walked down the stairs of her house, picking up her bag and trunk as she walked toward the door. Her grandmother was sitting on the couch, impatiently bouncing her knee.

"Do you want to be late for your first day?" Her grandmother gave her a stern look. Aurora rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"Well, let's get going then. And don't forget that wretched cat!"

Oh, shoot. I almost forgot! Aurora walked into the kitchen to find a fluffy, pure white cat leaned over a bowl of cat food. Aurora leaned over to grab the cat, and planted a kiss on its head.

"Come on, Quinton. It's time to go." She whispered, walking back to the trunks by the front door.

"Ready to go?" Aurora's grandmother asked. Aurora paused for a moment, looking around the house. She nodded slightly, as her gaze became more determined.

Hogwarts, here I come.
